I think he has more upside than V, but I dont think we are in the position to gamble on another goalie. We need a certified stud back there. I like Markstrome for now but his age worries me, I know the contract is short but we would have to give up a ton for an older goalie. Idk how possible it would be but if Fitzy can snag Saros that would be awesome

I’m not saying it’s a good deal, but he’s proving capable in a bad situation.

Wouldn’t Marty be putting in a word to have Jeremy start coming up so we can eventually have him in net. I feel like that would solve a lot of these problems, he is already in the system and we wouldn’t have to trade any major players to bring him in.

As an isles fan dam near anything is an upgrade in net for you guys. You get a legit goalie you’ll be in the cup final if you’re roster stays healthy for most of a season
