Tom Sherwood – Va Del Elizabeth Bennett-Parker (Alexandria) says she will vote “No” today on the Youngkin-Ted Leonsis Arena deal as it now stands, saying it fails on economic, transportation & other issues. Says potential changes to the bill could change her future votes.

Always was the case. She wants kickbacks for her and her constituents before free tax money is given away.
Yesterday was the start of negotiations. I think this will eventually go through, but OBVIOUSLY Younkin/Ted will have to make concessions and meet some of the other politicians pretty close to halfway. It’s theater on both sides atm.
