[Buffalo News] Victor Olofsson has been a healthy scratch in 25 of the Sabres’ last 69 games. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that he approached GM Kevyn Adams about a possible trade. “If there’s an opportunity to go somewhere and play, that would be the ideal thing.”

Kinda wild to me that the Sabres won’t at least use him as a power play specialist right now with how bad the power play has been.

They held that card way too long. Healthy scratches get traded for future considerations.

He was a found money player. A 7th rounder who developed his shot into a legit PP weapon, and the rest of his game enough to hang around the league. He got payed as if he was a legit 2nd line wing, instead of a PP specialist, middle 6W, on a bad team. If Terry doesn’t let Adams eat half Olofsson’s salary, then I doubt he moves until this summer as a UFA. And he might be lucky to find a team then.

Guaranteed salaries are a curse the owners have brought on themselves.

Donny G rightfully gets some credit for development with some guys, but he didn’t do squat for Vic.
