He's at the top of his trade value right now. He could be the missing piece on a Stanley cup winning team. Especially the way he is playing now. But they don't have to trade him.
Maybe he'll get moved in the summertime I just don't see him getting traded now.
It would take something major to make this happen.
The best foundation to a hockey team is a solid goalie, I can't imagine why they would trade him… When you're doing a renovation you don't rip the foundation out… I think it's tougher to find a goalie at markstroms level that it is to find wingers and D
I think it's quite possible Markstrom is traded to the Devils for sure. I wonder if another Flames player might be part of the trade.
Markstrom is 💯 about to be traded.. He just cancelled his gym membership at Good for Life!!

I don’t think the Flames want to retain any salary.
Zadorov and Lindy were UFA’s and Conny didn’t take any salary back. Markstrom’s playing so well right now, no way Conny does a deal where he keeps his money on the books.

Flames trade Markstrom say goodbye to the playoffs! No mentor for Wolf, and if Wolf isn’t the guy than what? Trade Tanev, Hanifin and Valdar and get some more strength up the middle.
Marky is elite and has 2.5 years left. 4 first round pick or STFU to any GM that wants him. Otherwise at this point there is NO NEED to even listen to an offer !!
