Yea sure, but be prepared for someone to try and take your head off.

  2. turd-eye

This is the biggest goof ever. Absolutely and shockingly hilarious. More funny than 50 Cent tossing out that first pitch

  3. Patrick Stefan was, in fact, incapable of ripping a slapper.

I have an idea, if you don’t want guys slapping on your empty net.

    Play better. Don’t lose.

  5. smokinBatman

Careful. Leafs Nation might get triggered

  6. _CoconutsGo

Let’s leave Stefan out of this. He was doing his best not to upset the Oilers.

  7. Sdwingnut

Rippin the Top Shelf Celly Cross Check To The Face boys.

  8. This is such an elite NHL clip. Top 5 embarrassing moments for sure

  9. Yes, there’s nothing between those two options

  10. Hey OP you know that slapshot misfires are like 10x more common than snapshot misfires right? If the puck bobbles that high, it doesnt really matter what kind of shot you were taking. Stefan’s actual mistake was taking his eye off the puck. If he was being more careful he could have just slowed down his skating and cradled the puck to recover.

  11. “And Bergeron fans on the pass, Stephan steals, and he’ll ice it-OH AT LEAST I THOUGHT HE WAS GONNA, until he blew it! That’s unbelievable! And here comes the Oilers the other way! And Hemsky’s loose! HEMSKY, HE SCORES! CAN YOU. BELIEVE. WHAT WE. JUST. SAW?”

“Patrick Stephan you should be embarrassed for what you just did. That does not belong in the national hockey league.”

(Yes I did memorize the call)

  12. Why he was one of the biggest first overall busts

  13. Morganvegas

Hemsky with the silkiest finish. 🥶

  14. Mumbumbo_boi

Absolutely, if he did he couldve retired in like 2019

No, you should always do a slapper because it rifles people up.

I really hope this becomes a tradition against the Leafs. Big clappers and massive cellies for empty net goals to get them rattled from here forward.

And then Chicago went and won 3 cups

  18. reDRagon22

I brought this up today at work as an example of why you clap it in. Never forget watching it live and just sitting in disbelief

  19. Master-File-9866

Ohhh this highlight gives me the warm fuzzies

  20. Threatening

Pretend the net is “them cheeks” and clap it as hard as possible.

  21. waitwhosaidthat

This is actually what I thought of when I seen the slap shot too! I remember watching that game.

  22. Professional-Luck795

Leafs would have cross checked him in the face for disrespecting their team cause he mocked them by NOT scoring on the empty net
