Almost eight weeks after going on IR the Jets centre is ready to come off of it and then head to AHL for conditioning purposes.
Talk about a big boost. Moose were getting Dominic Toninato after he cleared waivers. And now they get Gustafsson.
Moose face Wranglers tomorrow in Cgy.
They are rolling along at 5-1-1 and are just a point back of a playoff spot.

Does the conditioning loan give us roster space to call up Heinola or no?

I’m going to the Moose game on Saturday. Even though it would be nice to see them with the Jets I don’t mind the fact that I’m going to see Heinola, AJF, Toninato, and Gustafsson all in the Moose lineup. Didn’t expect that when I bought the tickets weeks ago.
