Please …you should stay out of editorials about people and tax issues. Evasion is real and a big problem and Canada generally has more balls in trying to manage and find the cheaters… that’s my opinion. To even suggest… that Canada tax authorities would act with intent to effect the leafs is inflamatory conspiracy thinking and really unprofessional on your part. But… a lot of people who follow hockey are decidedly conservative so … you know your market !

You can't believe that Canada would want someone making $8M a year to pay proper taxes? I can't believe that Tavares attempted to circumvent his income tax when he's making more in annual salary than 95% of Canadians will ever make in their life. I also find it weird how people have begun to advocate for lower taxation on the ultra rich simply because their favourite sports team might benefit slightly from that landscape, with zero regard for the damage that would have on ability to pay for social services, funding government programs, and their own god damn income tax rate. You do realise that every dollar a multi millionaire or billionaire avoids paying in taxes gets extracted from the rest of us, don't you? The cost of running the government doesn't change only the ones who have to foot the bill. In my opinion, it should be millionaire athletes and their billionaire owners with their overwhelming ability to pay who foot that bill. Not the single parent barely scraping by who can't afford to take their kid to a hockey game for their birthday. If you disagree I suggest you take a long hard look at your priorities.

Great video once again, especially for a hockey noob like meself. It was fun watching that Foligno-battle where both scored.
But… I don't care if I'd be a supporter of Leafs or if someone from my favourite team (Oilers) would've done it, that's just stupid and disgusting behaviour from someone who's supposed to be a role model to youngsters. But I guess that's more like "ye, whatever, I don't care" up in his head. Same with the other illegal hits. What's the point, really? Jeopardizing other players careers like that. But then again; it is to be expected from such type of "no name"-players anyways…

I was at the Detroit v Canucks as my first nhl game at it was one of the best games I could’ve gone to because there was regulation ot and a penalty shot which was awesome
