  1. Broberg is an absolute jewel waiting to bloom; I’m open to trading him but it has to be a certified needle moved(eg.Guentzel+extension). He has absolutely elite skating & his offense is coming along, he’s fallen victim to a good problem of the Oilers having too much good defensemen. Selling low on him would be a mistake

  2. I kinda wish that we tried Desharnais next to nurse and ceci on 3rd pairing, maybe we should be trading kulak and keeping ceci to play with Broberg, either way it would be interesting to see nurse and vinny vs small forecheck forwards

  3. This is why we don’t develop young Dman. He needs to be more aggressive for sure with his speed, and going back down and getting the ice time was the perfect recipe. What’d going on with Niemelainen? Is he not getting him better? I would trade Bourgault before Lavoie. Can’t pass on size Lavoie has and Bourgault is on the small size just like Lavoie.

  4. As far as Campbell goes I’m done with him. I don’t hate the guy, he obviously a great person, but his entire tenure as the oilers goalie has been just awful. It’s not worth the risk brining him up when we’re not that far away from a wildcard spot still

  5. Before we spend too much time crushing Campbell, please remember that Skinner was also getting tuned up by opposition offences, until the defensive changes locked in. He won't be brought up in season (because Pickard would get taken on waivers) but I for one wouldn't be at all surprised to see JC on the bench post-season. The guy proved he can play playoff hockey. He gave up TWO goals in 118 minutes of playing time last playoffs.

  6. I guess that question was too tough tough tough… then he turned off the lights, turned off the lights
