I realize that 16 wins in a row is very unusual and requires a lot of things to go right, but not playing any back to backs, barely any teams in the top 16 and mostly teams in the bottom third were certainly some of the things that went right on that streak. Now they have to play good teams, and it’ll be interesting to see if their fall down the standings matches their precipitous rise up them.

I get that we’re always supposed to hate on Edmonton (for good reason), but from any rational perspective on playoffs we wanted EDM to win that
