If Vancouver can carry the way they played in the second of today’s game and play like that for more of the game, then Vancouver should be fine. I will also say this. Every team goes through peaks and valleys in an 82-game season.

I think it’s honestly a good thing that we are going through a bit of adversity. For one I don’t want the President’s Trophy, dumb superstition I know but we don’t exactly have the best history with winning the President’s Trophy. And secondly, it’s good to face adversity now instead of facing it for the first time in the playoffs.

I think , barring some weird fans jumping on and off the bandwagon, it’s because the Canucks haven’t looked like themselves for a while now and yes they have found ways to win , but the full 60 min isn’t there. I mean the full game like we did during the new York sweep or at the beginning of the season vs oilers and here and there. .. and that kinda is more disappointing since they supposedly added a piece in Lindholm but really nothing to show for it..
