I feel bad for petey, always playing with non top 6 linemates. Mikheyev suter are just not good enough offensively.
The petey line needs offense, idk why they don’t send Aman down and bring Bains up and try something like:
PDG Miller Boeser
Bains Petey Lindholm
Joshua Blueger Garland
Hoglander suter mikheyev
Bottom 6 looks phenomenal, Miller line can reignite chemistry, just got to get petey line going. Bains has a good 2 way game and great offensive skills.
Zadorov gotta dial down the penalties a bit.
This game is painful to watch. Hughes seems like the motor but alot of passengers so far. Boeser seems like he’s just floating around.

Not a fan of how this team looks with Lindholm in the lineup. We look noticeably slower.

Hottest team in the NHL with unbelievable chemistry should’ve kept the lines the same and simply swapped Lindholm for Kuzmenko for at least the first few games and then adjusted the lines gradually thereafter. Seem out of sync at the moment.

Why not go lotto line, and allow lindholm to center a more defensive oriented line with Mik and Laff or Suter? Every line could play to an identity. These lines look confused

One of the things I really really appreciate about his commenting is that he takes the time to learn the other players’ names and how to pronounce them. But for the rest of today I would just like him to refer to every Red Wing as That Guy or This Guy.

Tuning in late, saw the goal. Piss poor attempt by Myers and whoever else was in front, but Demko put himself in a bad spot and kinda gave that goal freely.
First 5 minutes were horrible but they started playing better the rest of the period.
Would’ve been nice if that Höglander shot went in but oh well.
Lucky we’re only down 1-0.
God some of you are really critical of this team.. we’re tied for 1st in the entire league. Chill.
