Is Fleury a prime candidate to be dealt at the deadline?

Will Wild goaltender Marc-André Fleury be dealt before the trade deadline? Is there a playoff contender that could use an experienced goalie like Jake Allen for a postseason push? Will Ducks GM Pat Verbeek be able to find a suitable trade partner for netminder John Gibson? TSN Hockey analyst Martin Biron joins SC with Jay Onrait to share his thoughts.

  1. Why does Fleury need to move? He deserves to be where he wants to be at this stage of his career. Everyone seems to be playing God with these aging players like Flower and Crosby. Just leave them be.

  2. Fleury is coming to Carolina. It’s his best chance to make a deep run for a cup and the canes don’t trust Kochetkov to get them there at this point

  3. Fleury, the king of playoff choking.
Are there still teams stupid enough to put that series ending plug in the net.

  4. Trade deadline day should always be on a Saturday. I never get to see it because I'm working.

  5. I doubt Fleury cares about winning a 4th Stanley Cup when he's already a future Hall of Famer. The only team I see him accepting a trade to are the Penguins so that he can reunite with Crosby, Malkin, and Letang and retire as a Penguin.
