Blackhawks rookie Connor Bedard announces that the 2025 Winter Classic will be held in Chicago at Wrigley Field, with the St. Louis Blues taking on the Blackhawks.
we get that the nhl wants to market bedard but its not like hes going anywhere anytime soon. why not wait until the blackhawks are good again and he's in his prime?
if they wanted to do this again it should have been detroit vs chicago at the white sox stadium. it at least would have been somewhat different.

If Bedard landed on a Florida team, the NHL would have figured out how to grow ice in the everglades in order to get a Winter Classic down there.
