This goalie is absolutely WILD and I love it

Water is wet, goalies are nuts and I love every second of it! Over the weekend, the KHL held their all star games and we saw something I have never seen. A goalie joining the rush on a 2 on 1! Up 5-2 at this point, Berdin made a deke behind his net, made his way to the blue line and decided hey, im just gonna join the rush, broke out on a 2-1 and they scored. Now while it looked like HE scored, from another angle here you can see he in fact did not which kinda sucks, but just a crazy sequence to see a goalie on a 2 on 1 like this. Berdin or the Birdman, was drafted by the Jets back in 2016 and in digging a bit, this dude has always been a character.

He played in the USHL after the draft for 2 years for the Sioux Falls Stampeders where he had maybe the best celly of all time. After scoring himself a goalie, he got out every celly you could, with the boys, down on a knee, the line, a salut to the crowd and finally the mcgregor strut. Just simply Amazing

Now he spent most of his time in the AHL for the Moose, the Jets farm team where he once laid a hit behind his own net, leaving it empty in a sequence that actually led to the Moose scoring and once even soccer booted a puck. Just a wild wild man. I cover it all in todays hockey video!
