The Jeremy Swayman Coverage is RIDICULOUS…
So let’s talk about Jeremy Swan’s comments about arbitration he decided to expand upon them further after they shut out win against the Devils because uh is this are we making a lot about nothing let’s have that conversation just right from the man’s mouth himself this is him talking about
Arbitration him going through the process but yeah after dealing with what I did this summer with the arbitration hearing things that a player should never hear it feels pretty special to be in this situation so I’m extremely honored and I’m excited to join pasta and Monty so this is him making some
Comments about arbitration and becoming an Allstar for the first time in his career this is what he would say after the shut out win against the Devils I think it was a great learning experience I’m not going to lean on it it’s already happened what’s happened has happened
I’m living in the present moment and again it just goes back to the experience and I wouldn’t be the human human being I am I wouldn’t be the player I am if I didn’t go through it if I didn’t have the the years in college
If I didn’t have the years of Junior and the years in the NHL so I’m grateful for everything that may come my way and I’m excited for what’s to come I’m allowed to lean on my experience when things happen and that’s what I did so Jeremy Swan’s comments I saw made
The waves in the NHL Community I’ve saw a lot of Articles saying that Jeremy Swan isn’t going to be a Boston Bru some more of clickbaity type stuff if I’m going to be honest with you I’ve even seen some good you know content creators say well Jeremy Swan have an opportunity
Not to be back in Boston I don’t think that’s the case Jeremy Swan and this is one thing people have to understand as well he’s still going to be an RFA in this year and he’s going to get paid the Bruins were in a tight cap situation and
Swan could complain well I should be getting paid at a certain rate because I’m this but you could argue for the Bruins well should he be getting paid more than olar who won azna last year I mean and that’s probably a lot of the argument in that regard but but he’s
Still going to be in RFA the Bruins still retain his rights and with batrice berson and David C’s dead cap going away and the cap going up and pending free agents and we’ll see how things pan out the Bruins are going to have far more cap flexibility going forward so do you
Think they’re not going to pay their young 25-year-old won I believe at the end of his deal his deal his deal Runs Out in 2025 and you could have a whole different conversation whether the Bruin should try to retain him uh for a guy in 24 games played 2.38 goals against average
922 saber Center three shutouts this season he it seems like he’s taking another step in his development he looks far more sure of himself you think the Bruins are not going to invest in their franchise goal tender of the future he’s 25 years old he’s just entering his
Prime he’s going to going to be they’re going to be in a situation where they go from Tim Thomas to caras all mark for a couple Seasons then to Jeremy Swan the Bruins heavily believe in investing in good goal tending and it just it it’s why the
Bruins have been such a good team for over the last decade and a half they’ve had very good goal tending and it’s allowed them to stay competitive in the defensive structure also helps them as well but for for me just some of the conversation about s and not coming back
And he’s not going to be a brew and that’s just foolish it’s just really it’s just dumb actually if I’m going to be honest with you some of those comments are just extremely dumb because they don’t understand the process is he happy with what the Bruin said I mean
Obviously not in arbitration they’re trying to like lower your price like well technically omark took the tougher starts like they would have said all the negatives of his game but as a let’s say if I was in Bruins management or even just as a fan instead of pouting
Complaining becoming a whiny Mal content right what does he do he’s like all right you know what I’m going to put my money where money where my mouth is I’m going to have a fantastic year I’m going to believe in me and be the best version
Of himself and that’s what he has done he’s played spectacular this year and he’s lining himself up for a juicy payday now with the Bruins goal tending situation withar running out in 2025 do you try to resign him I don’t know Omar could if he keeps still
Playing well he could maybe get 67 million elsewhere but does he take kind of a HomeTown discount because he likes Boston he likes the environment it’s very been very positive for him I don’t know I don’t know what omark will decide in that regard and I wouldn’t be opposed
To bringing him back if he stays that’s a lot of money to invest in the goal tending position what most likely will happen whether it’s Brandon busy dve Petro or Reed dick and yes that is a real prospect’s name we’re going to have to see how things pan out now in goal
For the Bruins I think they have some quality NHL goal tending in the Providence I mean Michael DPO has turned things around so maybe he could get a shot but uh yeah I mean I think the Bruins are just going to put Swan as the one and then just fill up the backup
Roll with some go tenders they have in Providence whether they’re they right now or they in the future uh just yeah I think some of the conversation about Swingman being done as a Bru that’s just that’s just click baity garbage that’s not going to be the
Case Don Sweeny would be a fool not to retain swayan especially with showing how much of uh stud he is in that showing that he has that mentality to be an elite golender but I’d like to know your thoughts down below may maybe I’m tripping let me know your thoughts down
Below do you believe Jeremy Swan will be back in a Boston Bruin sweater you think it’ll be signed for the long term love to know your thoughts down below I’m captain Paul I’ll see you in the next one
I see a lot of coverage regarding Jeremy Swayman’s arbitration comments and some people stating he will be leaving the Boston Bruins in free agency. Let’s talk about it!

Spot on Paul, I agree with you completely here. IMO Swayman isn't going anywhere, he should be the future #1 tender in Boston. Ullmark is a superstar as well, he's proved it last year and so far this year before getting banged up. We have been so successful because of the goaltending and like you said, their defensive structure when they can maintain it. I have been impressed this year however seeing guys like Trent Frfedrick step up, and young guys like Carlo poised to break out. We have a good team. Their record over the last handful of years shows that.
Interesting – Jeremy will be back. The locker room loves him.
He wasn't worth $3.75 mil at the time of arbitration. He had to hear stark reality last summer that his schedule was coddled, his games were hand-picked. No, he wasn't controlling rebounds.
During his fantastic debuts in the playoffs, he would Stop the puck, whistle, offensive zone face off.
Another shot – stopped the puck. Offensive zone faceoff…
That was his pattern. He was not creating transitions, helping the offense. That comes with time.
I looked over each game of last season, he did not beat elite teams in their houses unless their team was injured, or they didn't start their stars… It truly was a hand-picked schedule.
That reality may have been a slap in his face that woke him up. The Bruins aren't going to publicly admit they handpicked his schedule!
And there's another thing going on- goalie coaches get financial bonuses when their goalies win awards.
Goalie Bob helped himself to those bonuses based on how he played this tandem. And it set a franchise record for winning season… Having Linus carry the heavier load
Since Jeremy has been with the bruins, he puts out a summer video from alaska. He'll show up in the news when he comes back.
He often comes down here on the peninsula to Seward, to Fish by the blue glaciers. No-show this year.
We found out he was going through a very intense summer of training – cuz he knows he needs to earn the arbitration amount or he's going to be gone.
I truly believe, especially according to Brad marchand's tweets – that Jeremy was screwed out of his international experience by not being allowed to participate in the olympics.
That's how Jonathan Quick got his, won an Olympic medal and his first Stanley Cup the same year – not a coincidence
Sways awesome! stepped it up – I think he wants to stay in boston.
I still have a few reservations about 6 ft 2 in jeremy, they have messed with his height for the last 3 years – I've noticed that also!
Ullmark has at least a 6-inch additional wingspan, his pads & paddle longer.
But I trust goalie Bob -:he gave up 6 ft 5 in Daniel Vlader to keep 6 ft 2 in Jeremy swayman.
Makes me wonder, yet I'm nobody.
I'm not going to question The Master.
Maybe the Bruins organization was doing some reverse psychology on Jeremy last summer
cause him to either stand up or lay down
I don't believe Jeremy has actually been tested yet this season. Not yet.
But he's in much better shape this year than last to be tested
🐻🏆
Great viddeo brother! keep em coming
Yeah, it would be stupid for Boston to let Swayman go. However, there is a silver lining: if he does go, Dipietro is most likely going to be called up to be the backup to Ullmark and we would have a Dyck/Bussi goalie tandem down here in Providence. Imagine the memes coming out of that.
Just idoits making something of nothing. This crap is spread by 98.5 the sports hub.
Great video!
Question – should the Bruins trade Ullmark this season for more offense?
I'm not sure where people even took the leap to "I won't come back". All he said was arbitration sucks, which it does. Imagine if you put all the effort you have in to your job and were extremely proud of what you had accomplished after a year or two, but then your boss calls you in to a meeting where they pulled out a binder full of reasons why you're a piece of shit, your accomplishments aren't worth shit, and you don't deserve to get a raise. Then imagine that you had to sit there and listen to every single one. Would you walk out of that meeting with fond memories? No, arbitration sucks and he's allowed to think it sucked. It's not personal, though, and all that matters is the next contract they put in front of him when it's time to re-sign him.
I wish i had gone up the road to see him play at UMaine.
imagine what would happen if at the end of the season, they traded ullmark?
Swayman is good, I think he is definitely all-star material. That being said, he was competing against a diminished Devils roster who is in desperate need of an all-star goaltender themselves.
Say what you will about Don Sweeney, he's not stupid and he won't let Swayman get away. It would be sad to let the 1-2 punch get away though if they sell Ullmark but eventually something has to give.(I just invested a hundred bucks in a goalie hug print so I'll just have to hope this can go on for a while anyways)
