The NHL should be TERRIFIED of Quinn Hughes

I created this video to show that Quinn Hughes is having an incredible season so far. His performances this season should make him a finalist for the Norris Trophy and MVP. In my opinion, Quinn Hughes’ performances recently have put him ahead of Cale Makar in the Norris Trophy race. Everyone in the NHL knows that Quinn Hughes is unstoppable this season with the Vancouver Canucks. It’s going to be fun to see if Quinn Hughes could play like this the rest of the season and in the playoffs as well. He’s proven this season he is one of the top 3 best 2 way defensemen in the entire NHL. The combination of his skating ability, shot, high hockey IQ, and vision make him the most complete defenseman in the NHL right now.

  1. YOU HAVE NO CLUE LIKE MOST PEOPLE POSTING ON YOUTUBE HOCKEY IS TEAM MATES THAT MAKES STATS FOR EAC PLAYER HE IS ON A GREAT TEAM HE IS FAR FROM BEST D MAN LOL

  2. quinn is such a delight to watch and is the main reason i got back into watching hockey. His ability to play creatively outside the traditional role of a defenseman is i think key to what makes him so unpredictable and hard to defend against. I really need to buy a #43 jersey…

  3. What's amazing is this highlight package didn't even show any of his great defensive plays or breakouts. Also, his creativity and skills on the offensive blue line is second to none.

  4. As a former seasons ticket holder, Hughes did something EVERY game I watched that had me amazed. And it was always infuriating to see ‘ANALysts’ not rank him in the top 10 and even at the start of this season, not in the top 5. He’s a total stud on the blue line. Only love for captain Hughes. 🇨🇦🔥💪

  5. At 62 points (2 Game winning Goals, 10 other goals, 7 Game winning assists, 43 other assists) He's 3rd on the team 2 points behind Pettersson and 5 Points back of MIller.

  6. Hughes is invaluable – in American football terms he's an all-star quarterback and linebacker at the same time. If he continues this level of play (in other words if he isn't out with injuries) he should win the league MVP.

  7. One thing that wasn't stated in this video is how long his shifts get when the Canucks need a goal. He's a freak as he can do a 2 min+ shift without getting tired.

  8. Yeah, hadn't really noticed Hughes until the all-star weekend, and wow what a skater. Him and Cale Makar are superb talents.

  9. Excellent video. So hard to find a compilation of Hughes’ best moments without all these terrible zoom ins and corny music. You did a great job dude

  10. Jets fan; Hughes doesn't make too many mistakes and when he does, he has the speed and explosive first step to recover. Good hockey IQ, good stick handler, terrific passer, clears the D-zone quickly. Just one of those players who could play for all 32 teams.

  11. He controls the puck with such confidence and is incredibly agile and slippery.

Honestly I think he’s going to get better still, his ceilings is infinite because he adapts so quickly and has an ability to change decisions on the fly because he sees the ice so well.

I agree with you on one of the best of all time, without a doubt. I see multiple 100 point seasons in him.
