List for the Bruins performance for each individual performance this season in at least so far considering considering you know we’re 49 games in I think I think we have a decent I think we at a a point where we can we can safely say our
Opinions on and very on our on our boys in black and gold so this is what we’re doing while I cannot sleep so what have we here well we have a list a tier list for each player that has played at least one game today I will be cross referencing their their
Performance with their stats on and ESPN here but here’s basically what you need to know about each individual or ranking first of all Persona n grada we are not going to be discussing meong luch he is until not only has his court date not been decided yet as to rather
Not only has has there not been any decision as to whether or not he’s guilty consider concerning the domestic abuse that he en raptured himself with it in in in November but also he only played four games his his sample size is not is not enough uh we are going to add

Was going to score 30 points in his in his rookie season I I thought that he was going to decently impress uh four games so far not enough of a sample size enough to to judge so anyway a a little bit of of background about what these these mean s

On your way to a uh you’re on your way to Greatness in this one so with all that said let’s get into it and first and last one last thing I will be doing these by each individual each individual position not Rather I’ll be doing this by different groups so forward groups first then defenseman then goali although go is going to last two SEC go is going to last two seconds because where are you where are you where are you trouble makers uh Swan and S tier Ollie B tier Ollie I
Think o I’m happy with again I knew we know there’s a little bit more that o can do from All Things Considered but he’s but he’s still having an all right season 913 save percentage is still oh like top five in the league and San is amazing JB so we’re going to start
Off of the forwards ears with Johnny beer Johnny beer I think honestly given given his 39 game so far I would put him in C tier I would put him in C tier for right here uh yeah he hasn’t really he hasn’t really put in too much of the much the work
Five only seven points in 35 in 39 games I would want him to be a little bit better although nothing was going to make him score nothing was going to make him score they put him on a scoring line in in Michigan and he couldn’t really
Score there they put him on the scoring line in in Providence he couldn’t really score there I don’t think they’re going to put him on a scoring line here I I’ve made jokes about I love making jokes about beer 1C but I’ll be realistic but Beer’s main Beer’s main Aid to this
Team has been in his has been in his defensive play and his face off percentage I don’t understand why we dropped him down because because his face off because he has fantastic ftic at the dot I I mean ESPN isn’t really going to give me a actually uh face off percentage right
Here beer best in best of everybody best of everybody at the at the dot I know coil is still I know Coy and zaka have taken more but beer is still fantastic I don’t and I’ve been saying you want to win games it starts in it starts in the trenches and those trenches
Are and there are four of those trenches on either side there are two of those trenches on either side of the ice and yeah beer Fant beer has been doing all right but again I think I think that we can see him Elevate his game a little bit more I know Andrew
From I know Andrew from the short shift has from the short shift podcast has said that at the first time the next time beer handles a handles a pass correctly will be his first we’ve seen that several times this season and but I I still think that beer all things consider
Johnny beer all things considered solid C tier next up yeser bfist bfist bfist bfist bfist we’re going to put him in in C tier as well he is he had a little bit of a rough start to the season actually you know what I think we’re actually
Going to put him in B tier he he did have a rough start there were he did very much struggle to make the the roster on in more than just a few ANS and pretty pretty well exemplified by the fact that he’s only played 14 games this
Season but in that for but in that 14 but in the 14 games that he’s played I’m not I’m not disappointed I think he’s shown himself to to be able to to Rally the park around and again he’s not he’s not someone who’s going to
Get you like four uh he’s not going to be someone who cracks 10 goals by the end of the season he’s going to be I don’t even know how I don’t even know if he’s he really going to be too helpful on the top line for much longer
But for right now he’s been doing all right he’s been doing all right at the for what he’s he’s been doing all right on the top line with with zaka and Pasto and that’s pretty much all we need him to do right now next
Up ah Patrick Brown F tier F tier e the easiest F tier of this of this entire tier list this Patrick Brown skates around like like well his like his pants are full of well Brown he is not great he’s not great he sucks at pretty much everything
He can’t get back on defense he can’t he can’t transition into offense he can’t he can’t cyle a puck he can’t and grow the puck he is terrible and I don’t understand why we kept playing him next up Trent Frederick might be a little bit might be a little bit
Ambitious but if this but if I’m making this T but I made the rules of this T that are it’s basically how much have you exceeded my expectations s tier this guy he has almost he’s almost surpassed his his career high for for points in what just in the
First just in the first 49 games of the season and he’s played all 49 and which is amazing and in just averaging 13 like 13 minutes 45 seconds a night which is like think middle which is around middle six minutes it’s he’s been able to hit
He’s been able to hit almost 30 points which is his career high from I think last year was 33 amazing amazing he has been able to and not only and it’s not only showing up on his statute but but others remember you know how Mar Marian the
Past few games has been kind of on a heater and that has been because Trent Frederick has been the generator of this entire offense it’s he he carries so much momentum um um on his stick and and I love him I love him the biggest question at this point the biggest
Question is Don cam how long are you going to Stell for for signing this guy I really really do not want to again to bidding wars over this guy in 2025 I really I sincerely hope that you sign that you sign him to an extension either during this offseason or sometime during
Next or sometime during next next year please I do not want to get into a bidding war over this guy he’s going to be amazing next up someone next up someone walk in the Best Buy and and get us The Geek Squad Morgan geeky I’m going to put
Him in B tier B tier for geeky 43 games played eight goals 15 assists 23 points it’s in about 15 15 minutes 15 and a half a game decent decent guy on the decent guy in the middle six and and for what it’s worth his time on his time on the second
Line at times he’s been all right I don’t think I think honestly his his playmaking ability has been and kind of his playmaking ability and his his ability to to like get himself into the scuffle a little bit it needs to be there a little bit
More I would like to see him throw the weight around a little bit a little bit but for what but for just a rental guy that we picked up off the scrap he of Seattle well I think he’s been doing all right I don’t think he’s I think again I
Would like to see him do a little bit more but for right now I’m all right with it next up Danton Heinen again we’re going off of we’re going off of expectations and for that reason he’s going in s tier in 41 games this season he’s he’s
Had nine goals nine assists for 18 points and that much for a guy that we signed at League men oh guy we signed at leag men at a on a professional try out well I thought that I thought that bring bring him back for a second stint was
Was just going to be a vanity project for for the 100th season I thought it was just going to be oh look at us we’re oh look at us we’re we’re getting the gang back together I almost thought we were I almost thought we were going to
Try and make a make a move for noar as well but man he has been incredible he’s been like we go like Fifth and although he’s only taken like he’s taken less than 20 freaking face offs so not really not really that not really that excited about that but consider but
Like 18 points for a 18 points in just the first half of the in the first half of the season for a guy who who I who we also picked up off the scrap he and including his first ever hatrick and against Montreal n us a amazing amazing play from Heinen and
He’s he’s got amazing he’s got great chem in the middle six that that’s the main thing about the the Bruins a lot of our guys can be shuffled around in own in various spots in the top nine and they’d be and they’d be perfectly fine they’d be amazing and that is that’s basically
What we got with hen now next up jdb Jake debrusk a tier a tier for E tier for de brosque I think he’s de brosque has had a bit of a a bit of a rocky season and six game six games in in December with with zero
Points but I think I was talking about this a while ago that uh that like the emphasis on the fact that sports betting and fantasy sports and all that [ __ ] have have deemphasized literally anything that doesn’t result in a puck crossing the plane has sort of blinded us to the fact
That that de Brusque has has been one of our best defensive forwards and not just one of our best defensive forwards but he has also know been really great at at also being a generator of of momentum and you know what it’s starting to it’s starting to show through again
And de brus 12 goals 13 assists 25 point mean yes it’s a little bit less than in what we’d want but but he’s been he’s been picking up the pace and and I’m happy with with his production and granted I don’t think that we’re granted
I don’t think that uh that 13 I don’t think that four and a half you know what actually I might I might drop him down to to B tier because is yes yes he’s been he’s been great he’s been great in the INT in the intangibles but I don’t
But you need still need some of the tangibles to to be able to actually you know Be an Effective player which isn’t to say that jdb is in effective he’s he’s clearly effective otherwise we wouldn’t have given him a for for million doll contracts thanks but that’s
Beside the point next up we have James Van rdik who’s going to be our second C tier jvr had a great start to the season and with like five goals in the first few with like five goals in the first few in the first like two weeks and it
All came down to the fact that jvr has the best netfront presence of anybody in this of anybody on this team let’s go back to his stats real quick eight goals 23 assists 31 in points All Things Considered that is exact that is pretty much what I
Expected us to get from jvr I just didn’t expect it to be like this I thought it I thought I thought a lot of it was going to be just a little bit of P I thought a lot of his goals were just going to be some P some pck some Puck
Luck you can clearly see how how well six beers end 230 in the morning is is treating me right now with how I’m speaking but yeah I thought that I thought that jvr wasn’t wasn’t going to be amazing I thought he would be like a a decent depth guy for the bottom six
But for what we got from him for what we’ve got gotten from him I’m pretty happy I do know that that this is not the jvr that we would have gotten like three like five years ago or so it’s it’s hard to believe I’m not
Going to lie I I it’s sort of like a jump scare to to remember that this guy was was at one point a toron Tonto Maple Lea but yeah that is that is basically J are I know that I know that there’s more to him but there’s but for what we’ve
Gotten I’m I’m not disappointed lco lco I love this guy I love him he’s going in t tier he has there have been plenty of games plenty of games this season where he’s just not been on he he’s just been do not play this kid and I know I
Know he’s our terminally he’s our terminally online in in grape and grape and JRR toen an addicted check boy and I am so so happy that that we’ve all just decided that Don Cherry is is so much of a tool that he’s no longer that he’s no longer
Worthy of the nickname grapes so he gave it to to this check so this so he gave it to this check cornball oh and I say that with every bit of love in my heart for foro but still I think that Loco he there have been there have been moments
Where he’s on there have been moments where he’s off and there have been a lot more moments where he’s off than on this season and just not entirely knowing the situation not entirely knowing not entirely making the best decisions I I would like to see him play a I would like
Him and honestly some sometimes the benchings that he’s gotten have been have been pretty pretty worthy like you see like you’re seeing it here he’s played 36 games and has and and other than Steen he’s the set he’s gotten the second Le and he’s gotten the second
Least amount of of ice time in these the of anybody over 30 games that isn’t named Steen and I I think that’s pretty indicative of of his ability I think that’s pretty indicative of of how he’s played this season and I I hate to say
That but it’s kind of the truth next up Oh Captain mik Captain Brad marshan you are an a tier likewise likewise with likewise with Frederick you he has been a generator of the off like like there have been there have been many games this season there have been a
Few games of this season where I’ve said like okay everybody everybody in this game sucked except for Brad marand and I think that and and I think so far with how he’s been leading the team it’s been it’s been all right but I don’t necessarily know if he has
I mean I feel like I feel like there is that that overarching command of respect for him but part of me but part of me thinks that there needs to be someone else in the room who who can command the amount of respect that he has like like like remember last year and
Two years ago oh I feel like part of the Reas part of success came down to Nick Felino being a big voice in the a big voice in the locker room we all we all remember that that speech that he gave in the in the locker room and during
During the winter classic last year and what happened and this guy ended up scoring two goal ended up scoring two goals on a broken fibula after that but and I think think that the way that Brad has been commanding this team it’s been great I just don’t know if he’s
Been I just just think think that he needs to be able to do a little bit more with it and if not there needs to be someone else who can who can step up for him his honest production has been has been really damn good 20 24 goals 23 assist is
47 uh 47 points and and we all know that he’s and we all know he loves to to to get in the box so 51 51 Pim is is pretty uh it’s pretty you know it’s kind of what we expect from him at this point so next
Up past knock a tier as well a tier as well I think P’s been poso has been really good I mean [ __ ] 33 goals 39 assist 72 points 49 games that’s insane mean me I don’t I don’t think that he’s cracking 60 again this season I think
That and and there like with like with loo there have been times where he’s been on there’s been times where he’s been off the thing is with the thing is with prak there’s been a lot more times when he’s on than and when he’s off he’s played a he’s played really really good
The problem is that he’s just he’s still just not really the problems the problems that I have with him have been the problems that I’ve had with him for for the past several years there’s very little defensive aspect of his game and cannot handle the puck for sh
And we saw that a few times I remember that I remember in that Winnipeg game and basically just giving the puck away hey thank thankfully it didn’t really lead to anything serious but it was still just frustrating I I want to see posn handle the puck correctly a little bit
More if he does that he is going to be Perpetual lest here next up new kid on the Block Matt Patra All Things Considered I’m putting him in seats here he like jvr he jumped out to a pretty hot start all and I think five goals 10 assists
For 15 points in 33 games is about what we’d expect from him I we I don’t think many people were were pounding the pavement for this kid to be to be a point per game score I I think that half point for game is exactly what I’d expect from Patra the thing
Is is Monty has been Monty has been incredibly aggressive with with with if you’re not effective in if you’re not effective in the first two periods you’re you are done for the night essentially and I think that’s and I think that’s also I think that’s gotten to Patra enough to wear
It sort of eroded his confidence a little bit I think that I think that the potra that we’ve gotten and recently is definitely not the pture that we’ve got that we had at the start of the season and and I want to see I want to see him
Fight back a little bit and on that I want him to be I want him to to know that he can that he can do this [ __ ] because because everybody knows he can do this he’s in the NHL he’s in the HL for a reason and I kind of expected and
I would kind of expect him to him to have gotten a little bit more of that confidence back after after the after the world juniors but I just don’t I just don’t see it right now I want but I want to see it I want to see it it more I just realized
That I forgot something someone incredibly important Charlie Cole you’re going in a TI Charlie Coy my guy easily the bet easily the best faceof percentage of anybody of anybody currently taking taking faceoffs for the for the Bruins right now 18 gos 24 assists 42 points and 49 games it’s actually no
We’re actually putting them up to S tier he’s been insane let’s just uh let’s just in in his career or SATs it’s he’s not only has he set his personal record for for go for goals in this as a bruin and but he’s but he’s closing in on his on
Setting his the record and setting his personal record for for goals in a season and he is and he’s poised to completely eviscerate his record for for points in the season and I think po I think Coyle insane insane and I am so so happy for

Mean sometimes you might have a uh a [ __ ] head coach like I don’t know like Mike Babcock or John torella actually torella recently I’ve been recently I’ve been in kind of happy with him with how he’s been able to without how he’s he’s handled the locker room um and and him
Absolutely sticking up for Kevin Hayes I’m happy for for him doing that but usually when you’re when you’re playing N Night something’s wrong something’s wrong and Steen has not really shown up in any way shape or form that I would expect him to do so that is
Why he is an fer and ring us out zaka I hate to see I hate to do this I really really hate to do this actually I’m going to put him in C tier I’m not going to put him in D tier because I think honestly it it hasn’t been a matter of

Think three goals 10 assists 13 points it’s whatever he’s not he’s not a an offensive defenseman I think that he’s been his his defensive presence has been felt so so much this season and and when he’s been off the ice I remember I remember he was hurt for for a couple
Games with a concussion which by the way five [ __ ] concussions from this dude Brandon take care of yourself after take care of yourself after this after your your playing days are over you I really really hope that you that you keep your head on your shoulders because
This is just getting scary at this point five [ __ ] concussions wi but with Carlo his defensive his defensive play this season has been amazing I want and I think he has been he’s been without a doubt the best defensive piece this season for us and I
Think that and I really want to see him and I really hope that keep he is doing okay let’s actually see his his playing time 20 minutes 20 minutes T night 20 minutes is 20 minutes is pretty damn good 20 minutes is pretty damn good for for second for second pair of
Defenseman now forber F tier yep another another year another year of forart in F tier I again forbort I like I like I like him as a person but my God he is not good he’s not good Darla I love you your daddy’s not real your dad is not not the
Greatest right now oh everybody keeps talking about and there’s been no greater correlation does not equal causation than then Brandon Carlos’s short-handed time on ice not Brandon Carlo uh Derek forarts short-handed time on Ice everybody keeps talking about oh he’s oh he’s such a good penalty killing
Defenseman and yeah and so and so are so many other players on this team use them use them th this defense is good this defense is good you do not need you do not really need need Derek forart as a short-handed defenseman and he he’s physical but he’s slow he can’t
Really Crow the puck he can’t pinch properly very well and I I’m getting tired of him I’m getting tired of him next up Matt grizzli D tier DTI grizzli grizzli has been grizzli I was ragging on him hard for a while I was really really ragging on him
But he he’s rebounded well from that the problem is that it has been this up and down play from him all season and I it and and that type and that kind of going up and down makes it makes you seasick and I’m getting seasick of uh of
Matt grizzli I want I want this dude to be consistent it’s been and it’s been frustrating for him it’s been frustrating for him and it’s been frustrating for me two goals five assists seven points and 35 games I would have expected him to be a little bit more of an
Offensive of an offensive defenseman not really not really like a Kar type but more so well someone who I can expect to be someone who I can expect to to be decent in transition he’s not really great in transition 17 just under 18 minutes a night is not really that great
For is not really that great if your aspirations are second are second pair and higher if you want to be in the top four great if you want if you want to be in the top four great but you’re not granting the minutes of someone who’s of someone
Who’s playing in top four minutes and that and that is kind of indicative of how well he’s been playing which has been not amazing Lindy Lindy Lindy Lindy uh I don’t want to put him an S tier I’m putting him in a tier hus lolm one goal 18 assists 19 points in 49
Games there are a lot of people who are really really unhappy about that and and yes and and yes he had an insane 2020 2022 2023 but every but but I but I didn’t entirely know it was a fluke but looking at but looking at his career stats let’s look at his
Career stats he’s never really been a he’s never really been a massive a a massive Points Guy like like yeah well last year was the only time he had ever scored more than 35 points in the season and he’s always been more of a defensive player and he’s been that he’s been that
There will always be that McTavish go that he allowed against Anaheim that I’m that for some reason I will not let Him Live down um I I still I still just think that that is I feel like that’s sort of just a sort of just an indicator that like everybody’s mortal everybody’s
Mortal well nobody and nobody’s infallible well but yeah for what it’s worth Lyn holm’s been having a great SE ly holm’s been having a a really damn good season next up Louisiana fast Mason laui B tier lorai this season has been has been pretty damn good and I would say three
Three goals three assists six points in 27 game games in just under in in average of of about 1630 a night I know he hasn’t really been playing much and he hasn’t really but I still think that he you know what actually I’m going to drop him down to C
Tier cuz cuz the more that I think about it now the more that I the more that I’m starting to realize that this is exactly what what I I like I like I said with Patra this is sort of exactly what I expect from him um um I’m not entirely
Surprised that he’s that he got dropped down to to Providence but that’s also because we just have a glut of Talent on our uh on our defensive core and I think that and I think that it’s not really the you the worst for him to go back down I think honestly we’re
Going whether it’s whether it’s Beach ptra uh whether the next guy coming up is beer ptra uh melov of of lorite lysel well hell even freaking Jackson Edward earned for all I care he he’s not coming up Jackson Edward is not coming up I I love him he’s not coming
Up but no matter who’s coming up we know that we know that it’s we know that they’re still a little bit under under season and this and this new this new generation of of Boston Bruins is not is not going to be fully realized for another few for like another year or
Two lysell might not even lysell might not even crack the roster until 2025 which until 2024 2025 which I I’m I’d be a little bit unhappy with that but I’m not really but if it means that we’re getting a better Fabian lysel I’m happy with that just like with
With Mason La I’m I was pleasantly surprised with him but if he’s going back down and that means that eventually in the future we’re going to get a better Mason lri I am perfectly happy with that all right the Bonafide stallion Charlie makoy seven goals 20 26
Assists for 3 three points from 41 games he’s going in B tier he’s going in B tier I think he’s he’s been pretty decent and actually you know what no no I’m I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry Chucky I’m sorry for even insisting you were beat here yeah yeah he’s been Charlie
Makoy most nights is the is the nucleus of our entire defense like this entire defense has been built around Charlie makoy you don’t give a guy9 A5 million dollar a year for eight years to not to not try and build the team around him I I
Remember when when he got ink to that contract I called my sister who was in California at the time and and and which means I accidentally woke her woke her up at like 6 o’clock in the morning to tell her that but man that was he has been fantastic 24 and a half
Minutes a night I don’t entirely know who leades the entire league in in time on I a game after looking it up the answer is Drew dowy with 26 minutes a night holy crap but still 20 but still 25 24 and a half minutes a night incredible well well leading the entire
Leading the entire team in penalty minutes that’s my boy that’s my boy next up we have Sid L sloth Ian Mitchell F tier F tier here there is a reason he’s he only played 13 games with this team he’s not been great he’s not been good he’s not been good D every
Single time that Ian Mitchell is on the ice I have been like oh my God why is he here who invited this guy I I really thought I really thought that that his his previous work with with Monty at at Denver I thought that I was going to translate into it into him
Being a decent bottom four guy although primarily bottom pair but no no he is like I would almost at this point rather us rather us call up Riley Walsh the other piece that we got from the from that uh from that Hall trade which I know I know it was Captain but
Still m next up Kevin shaton Kirk you are in C tier shaton Kirk Kevin shaton Kirk five goals eight assists it’s for 41 point and it’s it’s averaging 1552 a night I I am still surprised that this man and went on a little bit of a scoring ter it
Was hilarious it was amazing watching him uh watching him score uh score like that but but like we also all knew that it wasn’t going to that it wasn’t going to be sustainable and for what it’s worth I’ve and for what it’s worth this is sort of
What I’d expect from shad and K cuz like how old is he 35 he’s 35 years old yeah as a as a 35y old defenseman this is this is about what I expect from him um and and I want to and yeah there are times again there are times when I’m happy to
Use on the ice there are times when I’m not happy he’s on the ice but someone who I’m someone who I didn’t expect to be as happy on the ice as I as I have been Parker W spoon Mr wpon you spent like the past four or five years
Developing in The Islander system um um and it has resulted in in you being one of the one of the weirdest success stories for them Bruins this season and hasn’t really been an effective offensive offensively no goals three assists in 20 games but averaging about seven averaging about 17 and a half
