We need to talk about Jesse Puljujarvi who is back in the NHL, this time with the Pittsburgh Penguins. We’ll talk all that and more on today’s NHL hockey video!

  1. As a Pens fan, I'm excited to see how Jesse does with us- was a fan of him in Edmonton and if he can produce any type of depth scoring, lord knows Sid and I will greatly appreciate that :,)

  2. Edmonton either makes really bad picks or sends players in the wrong trajectory. I think it is both. If he would have been selected 10th overall, or lower, maybe expectations would have been a little more achievable and he would have been able to build some confidence.

  3. He obviously didn't work out in Edmonton, but I loved the human. Seemed like the nicest guy you'll meet, and had some hilarious interview moments. I'd love to see him find some success. Long live the Bison King!

  4. I watched jesse alot when he played with the condors. Definitely a fun player to watch. I hope he does well with the pens

  5. He got to get angriness to his game. He is too nice. Maybe take some good fist fights on the ice and he becomes though as Bison king he is.

  6. Edmonton never knew how to deal with their top picks, theres many more examples than Puljuboi

  7. The Oilers were going to draft Matthew Tkachuk, but at the last moment they changed to Puljujärvi.

  8. Even Carolina don’t want this guy on their team. I thought the Canes would be the best fit for him playing alongside Aho.

  9. Shut up, this guy has been through the Oilers meat grinder and we all know everyone who escapes there does better. You earn opportunity it is not handed to you. This guy has not been given "chances" just shut up you sound like an old Oilers nag.

  10. so sad how Laine and Pulju's career have ended like this. They were supposed to be the next 2 big stars of the NHL.

  11. At this point, the Pens need to trade all front office staff and maybe Sully too. They kept aging Malkin to suck up cap space and keep them old. Hextall and Co decimated what used to be a reliable bullpen in WB/S. Also- the Boston group that owns them could not give a shit if they ever make the playoffs.

  12. The guy is cool and all dont get me wrong, but he simply doesnt have the skills to be an NHLer. He played many games with 2 of the best players in the world and couldnt take advantage of that. If he plays with Crosby and produces better than with the Oilers, i would be shocked.

  13. Super happy for Puljujärvi to get another crack at the NHL. I was excited to see him be drafted by the Oilers (my hometown team) but was disappointed with how things turned out. I had seen him play for the Oulu Kärpät (in the Finnish Elite League) twice and thought he looked solid. It was also neat to see how much the Oilers grew in popularity in Oulu where he played after being signed. I still see a lot more Oilers jerseys there now than I did prior to him being drafted.

  14. I’ve always liked Jesse. He’s a lot bigger than people think. If he can just use that size to go advantage things will be great

  15. Puljujarvi is not good enough for the nhl. It's not his work ethic, it's not his ability, he just doesn't think the game well enough. He's not in the right place at the right time and he puts the puck in the wrong places.
