This is why a goalie coming back from injury after a month needs to put in some game time before the playoffs. Get the rust off in the AHL, then if Campbell stumbles Anderson may be an option.

As long as this is Andersons last season in a Leafs uniform ill be happy. After losing to the Bruins 2 years in a row and also to Columbus last year is good enough proof to me he cant perform under pressure at a level that will help his team win.
Calm down peeps, his first game back in over a month. Marlies missing liljegren and sandin (two best defensemen). Everyone saying this is disgraceful clearly hasn’t played hockey. Everyone knows practice is different from a game. If he is consistently trash over like 5 games then you can get worked up.
I bet Auston Matthews salary he is finished with the leafs after this year. How many players have been brought in and didn’t contribute to the level the leafs expect especially in year like this one where we has as good a chance of any to hoist the cup. I’ll be damned if Dubas and Shanny will let him do what he has done the last few season and that was when he had good numbers. Its a business at the end of the day and yes they love the fans here but not even close to enough where they take the number one spot from Jack who has an unbelievable record and has deserved every vote of confidence in him from the execs and most of the fanbase agree. We get it you love freddy well this isn’t a popularity contest and even if it was Campbell has a contagious personality and has proved to be the number one goalie unless he fall apart which is not going to happen. Look we get it some all y’all want to pay Fred 5 million a season for mediocre results and the leafs arent paying him nothing more then possible 1.5 and that is hometown being nice. He needs to go prove his worth to other teams and you watch the counter offers. Freddy is done if we want the cup Jack starts period.
