  1. No, I don't get it. We had a good year yes, but all of a sudden where all in for a cup. Cmon. We're contemplating giving away more future now. More then we gave up already for Lindholm. Lets just slow things down here huh!!! These guys don't guarantee us nothing. The best team all year can be knocked out in the first round, people, we have seen that happen before.

  2. I think it's a good idea but I think it would be also good to swap tanev for Crosby, marner,Petersson players in this category and have youngsters in the deals as they will never get to play first team games

  3. This is the first trade that is an actual normal price. The last two trades the teams got fleeced.

  4. Tanev won't be cheap. He would have come home with Lindhiolm if it was easy. Canucks should just move on till Jul 1st..

  5. Morons saying Podkolzin and etc for Tanev? WOW DONT go for Tanev what the guy has 2 or 3yrs left? (if available when free then go get him free for next year

  6. It feels like the trade they are trying work out would be a 3-way trade. Something like:
Vancouver gets Tanev, 3rd team's 3rd rd pick
Flames gets Van's future 2nd rd pick, 3rd team's prospect, maybe also Van's prospect
    3rd team gets Zadorov

  7. I think if the ask was a 2nd and say Raty, especially if they’re planning on resigning Tanev to a team friendly contract, I think they should do it. Bo Horvat and a pick for Tanev, Hronek and Zadorov sounds pretty good to me, as long as they can keep all 3 for next season as well as Lindholm.

  8. All these trade ideas seem ridiculous. They have a winning team, the Canucks should hold except for something really lopsided.

  9. I’d give up a 2nd RD pick + raty + Friedman for tanev at 50% retained only giving up Friedman to make the money work but other than that I wouldn’t give up much more seeing the Canucks do have a ok main 6 d-core and juulsen as a 7th even tho tanev is better than half of them

  10. As long as they’re willing to retain 50 percent, yes I would do that deal.

You need 8 quality dmen to make a championship run. Thats the last piece we need.

    Pay the price!

  11. I dont want Tanev. I like him but I dont see him as much of a benefit. He averages 2 goals per season and barely any assists hes basically a goalie and that’s assuming he’s where he needs to be at the right time like a PK

  12. The only way that happens is if Taney makes it happen with his M_NTC. My bet is he ends up in Toronto by them over paying with a first and a prospect. The leafs need three of him to do anything.

  13. Why the absolute F would we want Tanev back? We let him go for reasons! Why don’t we just trade Demko away and sign Markstrom, while we’re at it?

  14. That's a steep price. Stop giving the Flames goodies. They'll cream us for years to come. Look elsewhere for a roster D.
