  1. KOMMENT KORNER:

Do you think Podkolzin can replace Kuzmenko this season…cause I think its worth a shot before trading the former first round pick for a "rental"…

  2. Keep Pods his development was far from where it should have been he’s a physical 200 foot player that’s still young and just needs more time unless we get an offer we cannot refuse

  3. One doesn't trade Kuzmenko until MMMMMikheyev gets line swapped with Hogs. Keep that line change up to the trade deadline.
    So I agree with Trevor

I've got a hunch that Hoglander will spark the top six.

Mikheyev has that fourth line energy so between him and Lafferty crashing the net I think it's a good overall balance.

  4. hidy ho!

As great as the Canucks are looking, at what point did this turn into a Cup-or-bust year? Alvin and co. have really only just begun. After all those years of misery, I don't want to throw it away so easily. What's the reasoning behind next being bust? Canucks fans finally learned to be patient after last year, and now suddenly everyone seems impatient again. Am I missing something?

  5. How many 1st round draft picks are willing to do Gordie Howe hat tricks beside Tom Wilson. Podkolzin is a Tocchet type of player. He can score 20 goals if given the opportunity because he got a heavy wrist shot! Lindholm has declined in production without his buddies Johnny and Matthew and he only has 9 goals so far. Podkolzin deserves a call-up and a shot again this season. Bump up Hoggie and let Podz take up the Hoggy's spot. See what they can do before trading away these valuable assets.

  6. I remember watching the draft that year and was besides myself because Matt Boldy was still there. Then the Canucks selected Pods. WTF, it was almost like the Juolevi situation. But not quit.

  7. Podkolzin is not a smart hockey player from what I have seen and his confidence is fragile….reminds me a bit of virtannen as far as hockey iq is concerned
