I like this game. Not just because we won, but I keep telling Fairweather bruins fans that Jake debrusk shows up for training camp, then just sort of hangs out around the locker room going up and down the line while the coach puts prospects on the ice to see who's traded and who's staying
Then sometime about January he starts to play. Right when trade deadline is approaching, and bruins fans are pounding the boards to trade jake, then he silences them. Always has an outstanding showing in playoffs, which is right before the summer break so all the fans forgive him, and next fall they all forget how pissed off they were at him the previous December
I had a swimmer like this. Once he got the pattern down of the season, he wasn't going to bother to turn it on unless it meant qualifying for something important or winning a championship
The high school teams offered to make him a Captain young, just to get him to show the hell up!
Athletes can be very lazy humans!
And I also told these fair weather fans to watch wotherspoon. This guy was going to be decent.
Here he is… Don't know if he's on the trade block cuz we need a 1C. But I like this guy
