Barabanov has “Chevy at the deadline” written all over him
Low cap hit, back to back 39+ point seasons. Chevy is salivating at this lol. Would probably cost us at least Montreal’s 2nd we got in the Dubois trade
His numbers are way down this year. I get the sharks aren’t a great club but at 2.5m cap hit for a 4th liner is kind of steep.

Eh, he’s like a slightly worse but cheaper Iafallo. Could maybe see it if Chevy needs to clear space for a bigger trade but wants to keep the roster mostly intact, so like Iafallo for Barabanov. After Vancouver grabbed Lindholm, we need to be a bit more aggressive and grab someone who moves the needle a bit more I feel.
