  1. Lets just say that Sean Monahan's value has skyrocketed today. Courtesy of the Vancouver Canucks. Thanks guys.

  2. I would be so happy if this was the Habs making this trade. I hope it's either as good or better.

  3. Thank you to Vancouver Lindholm is good however Monahan has been better this year more goal more assists about the same faceoff% and +/- at a wayyy less AAV so Vancouver just made Monahan’s value 📈📈📈 (WRITING THIS BEFORE I WATCH THE ENTIRE VIDEO SO IF IM JUST REPEATING WHAT JOSH IS SAYING IM SORRY LOL)

  4. Why wouldn't the Habs get a similar haul for Monahan that Calgary got for Lindholm?? Personally, I'd place Monahan ahead of Lindholm for a playoff run.

  5. Well Vancouver is 100% off the list for Monahan. Now Monahan is the best center avaliable. New York Toronto LA and more teams want him. If this is what Lindholm fetched and he didnt retain salary on that contract then no doubt we can get atleast like Portrais and a 1st.

  6. When Kuzmenko got his 39 that was a grossly over rated number to expect because he shot a whopping 27% and he will NEVER again match that high a scoring %.Realistically more like 12-15& so that cuts his numbers in half so that 39 turns into a 20 goal season. He also had half his goals on the powerplay that scares me i NEED good 5 on 5 players to win a cup.
One more stat I ALWAYS look at is shots on net that tells me if a player is active to the net and a part of the offense .A number I NEED to see is at least 2 shots per game and Kuzmenko is NOT a 2 shot per game player so yeah don't expect to ever see that 39 goal season again for the rest of his career.
That D man is showing some good offense also gets 2 shots/game and is a solid +30 and leading his team as a defenseman but he is also 19.So this tells me he is likely mature for the OHL but won't be getting any better but hey maybe he is good enough as is to play in the NHL.

  7. Monohab should get a first…Anderson should get a second plus a prospect….Savard should bring a 3rd …Armia….maybe a 5th .!!!😊

  8. I don't even want all that for Monahan, as long as we get a 1st and a really good young forward, I'll be damn happy!

  9. Barring his injuries he is actually a better player then Lindholm. And people are worried about his amount of time he has taken off from on ice practices. But after all the time he’s had off from actual on ice game time, he’s done well. His stamina will take time to build especially since he’s not that far removed from his hip surgery. So ya I think he’s doing well.

  10. MTL is a buyer not a saller , sean stays in my opinion we eed those good players we need to get better not get picks

  11. The thing that makes it absolutely bonkers to me is the addition of Brzustewicz to this deal, that kid is in the Lane Hutson territory but as a right handed D, he's potentially much better even than Mailloux.
If i were a Canucks fan, i'd be mad they let him go. On is own he could have fetched a real strong return. They did not need him to make this deal work, Allvin lost it there.
But now Monahan becomes the Motherload, worth his weight in gold.

  12. People that said Monahan wasn't worth a 1st round pick are about to eat their shoes. Thanks to the Canucks the value just doubled!

  13. To think people on other sites were trying to lowball the price for Monahan. Best he could fetch a 2nd rounder. Not anymore time to pay up.
