Yes, the Leafs desperately need strength and grit (everywhere but certainly on D) in the playoffs. A big reason they don’t go anywhere in the post season, I believe. It would be an interesting move.
You drastically undervalue Oleksiak. They have a good young goalie I'd also be interested in… and reuniting Eberle with JT would be cool too… so A signed Nylander, Samsonov, Minten and a 1st for Eberle @50%, Oleksiak and Daccord and our 3rd round pick back
