One of those players I just love watching play. I'm excited whenever he's on the ice. Before I started watching hockey my friend sent me some links of great hockey players. Jamie Benn was one of those guys. She was so right.

I noticed that Benn uses like a small section of white tape on his stick blade, while the rest is black. Wonder why he does that. I like to use black so that defensmen have the slightest bit of trouble seeing the puck. But white can be nice for your teammates to see. Wonder if Benn does this so that he gets the advantages of both.

The only thing that is criminal is how low he was drafted. Even the Stars passed him up four times before drafting their (at time of comment) captain. What more do you expect from your 129th overall pick?

The Jack Eichel video was great… and although Patrice Bergeron is my all time favorite… this video of the guy I wish we did not let slip to 129th overall in 2007 is the runner up in my book. What a story and godly numbers for a guy to stoop so low in the draft! Great work! GO BRUINS

Just here in 2020 the night the stars beat Vegas for the western conference finals. Benn wasn’t THIS good but he still carried our team to victory
