sadly, this can be said for pretty much the entire season. even at the beginning, they were hanging on due to their great powerplay. their 5 on 5 play was awful.
Which AHLer or inexperienced rookie is he most embarrassed by? Which one does he think got outplayed by a perennial playoff team?
I get his frustration. Everyone is frustrated. But some perspective is required this year.
This break will be good for everyone, including the cap.

This team clearly has a ton of issues right now but I don’t think it’s unfair to say we need more leadership from the vets. Our D core is decimated but it’s too much to ask of Luke, Nemec, Bahl to be that guy. Really missing Smith right now as crazy as it is to say.
Fuck knows, I could be way off with this take. No one here has been in the locker room but they just look listless.

There was all this expectation before the regular season started. It’s almost like teams decided to just go out there with the intent to injure and well, they succeeded.
