It I’m I’m a fan yeah yeah I uh I really liked Louis’s fit like I like I liked it a lot but like it’s like he doesn’t miss no he can wear a potato sack basically I did love and add some cleavage to it and y’all be like that was the accessory

That’s what I’m saying I was like that’s what I loved I was like whoa he was giving us cleavage he didn’t have any necklaces on which I was like I was like he he he looks naked a little bit you know like yeah what’s missing and yeah

Ago at Charla Clair’s Vlog his latest Vlog where he was shooting free throws very violent and aggressively very VI yes that is a very good description of how he was shooting free throw like and he was doing something weird with his wrist where I just couldn’t quite understand like how the mechanics were

Supposed to work to get the ball out of arm and I guess that’s why he wasn’t making any but I loved it I just charlot Clair is like I have a soft spot for him you know what I mean because he TR nothing truly is behind those beautiful eyes of

His and he’s great at his job but like when he’s off duty he is off duty like no thoughts just Vibes just being beautiful just being rich just being like Charla Clair so yeah I love that for him he was in the snow yesterday

Eating ice I was about to I was about to say dope pictures great pictures will he have pneumonia let’s wait and find out you know what I’m saying what do you mean I can’t have what do you mean I can’t have ice cream pneumonia anony imagine the amount of like brain

Was top view they were all laying down in a circle oh I think I saw that yeah they were like on vacation I think on a yacht or something on the beach yeah yeah yeah and and I read I read about that picture and one of his friends was

Like we’re getting roasted and everything but like Charles is the person who starts that Charles is the person who says let’s take the picture of that one yeah so so it’s like I love it just goes to like what you’re saying is like no just Vibes like he’s just

Vibing oh my God ice cream slow let’s take a picture makes perfect sense yeah perfect sense we should all have this you know we should all turn off the switch sometimes and just have ice cream in the snow just enjoy your life you know figuratively and deal with

The repercussions later you know what I mean exactly exactly right like when he shows up sick in the first race like we’ll know for we we’ll know why like imagine pinpoint exactly why yeah there are so many pictures of everything he does there it won’t be a difficult

Interesting news and rumors that we’ve seen during this weekend recently in general typically we do have a main topic to dig into but today we are just as always running on Good Vibes and then a lot of smaller not smaller but a lot of shorter news than usual but we

Brought uh plenty of them yeah a lot of interesting interesting things happen around F1 For Better or Worse yeah so it’s usually the lad It’s usually the lad yeah what did you bring for us um so speaking of the worst corruption uh that’s how we’re going to

Kick this off so this is an update to a story that we talked about back in the summer this was uh to do with the Singapore GP both the transportation minister of Singapore and also business tycoon Ang Ben sing uh were basically arrested on corruption charges um there

Has been update Elizabeth did an article for Jalopnik where she kind of ran through the most recent events being that that the um transportation Minister uh s iswan actually has retired he basically resigned and in a statement to CNN said I resign as cabinet minister Member of Parliament and as a member of

The people’s action party because I believe it was the right thing to do what I found kind of interesting about this as because there’s more details about like what this actually involves um he was essentially gifted uh or bribed I guess by by Ang Ben sing and essentially the gifts

Amounted to around like $120,000 and it it included uh F1 Singapore GP tickets business class flights um Broadway or West End tickets like to go see plays and musicals and what Elizabeth kind of touched on in the article was that Singapore tends to not have as much corruption in their country there’s like

An index there’s like a corruption index that we um rank countries by based off of the perception of like how much corruption that there is course so the US for example ranks 24th which I found very surprising considering I feel like it should we should probably be lower um the bar

Would be in hell for us I feel like does the US make the list we’re 24th I I does the US create the list oh I don’t know that’s a great question I have to find out who actually creates because if the US creates a list there was tampering there was

Tampering um yeah 24 feels kind of yeah like I think we should be lower in the US we like to do things big so if we’re not top 10 don’t talk to me about right don’t talk to us um but in the top 10 is actually Singapore so they’re tied I

Believe at fifth with Sweden um so I found that was interesting so they’re really a a country that that does not do corruption um their last Scandal was like in 1986 and they pay their ministers lower the number the lower the number the less corruption right so the closer to the

Top you are the least corrupt that you are we’re 24 that you said Sweden I was like there’s no way Sweden is corrupt so so I’m taking it the wrong way okay I’m so sorry okay um so yeah so part of that is they they pay their ministers really well like something like

$800,000 in like annually in their salary so when you see that somebody’s accepting $120,000 worth of bribes not even just cash but like you know what I’m saying like little little trinkets here and there like that just seems crazy to me to to blow up your whole life and your

Career for for something like that what did you risk it all for an eighth of my salary right like what and now you’re like shame in your country because again they really haven’t had anything like this since the 80s your family you’re saying he’s a Trailblazer right yeah he’s breaking generational

Curses in Singapore so that’s crazy to me history books is what we um so as of right now the Singapore GP is expected to continue um as planned in September 2024 but we still have another um layer to this which is ang Ben sang He’s like

I said the sole like basically owner of the Singapore GP and I guess whatever happens with uh San about this case will determine what they do with him so keep a pen in the story F1 has so many races that and nothing against sing the singapur GP in general at all but

Like there’s so many races right now dropping one wouldn’t be the worst thing that could happen no no not at all but yeah Singapore’s usually a pretty good race so that’s why I’m like that does kind of suck that it’s Singapore of all the races that this has it is a good

Race it is a good race um so let’s do an F1 Academy announcement summary of what we have right now um right now I’m just going to go through the drivers and the F1 team that they’re uh connected with right now the confirmed drivers are Tina Housman with Alon Martin

Maya wo I apologize with any last name for for Ferrari Abby pulling for Alpine Bianca Bustamante for McLaren Leah block for Williams Carrie shrer with steak saber slki slash uh what else Chloe Chambers with hos and newly announced uh dorianne pin with Mercedes yeah uh you had some or we were having some

Conversation about the F1 Academy uh before the show and um how are you feeling with the F1 Academy with regards to like how seriously are you are you taking it or what do you need to see from the F1 Academy to feel like this is

A good place or path for these women to be in um well so my initial feeling toward F1 Academy like when it first launched I felt like it was just very like reactionary and almost like performative um to the W series basically losing funding um I felt

Like I guess yes your point like I need to kind of see where this goes it’s obviously a great I think it’s going to be a great platform for these for these female drivers to be able to reach a wider broader audience now that the races will actually be broadcast um you

Know it puts them in front of many more eyes hopefully part people who want to partner with them um or who have opportunity for them that they may not otherwise have been um you know had access to resources they would resources also that they maybe would not have

Access had access to um so I’m I’m taking it really seriously because I do feel like this needs to be successful uh you know I don’t I just don’t want to see something that was thrown together and these women are taking you know a chunk of their their career time that

They could be doing something else and putting it toward the F1 Academy and not really getting anything out of it so I’m skeptical I’m I’m very happy for for everybody I will say like I’m very happy that the this is happening Susie wolf being part of it it clearly feels like

It’s going to be taken to a completely different level um but yeah I’m just very like apprehensive I hope that it really amounts to something for each of the girls um well women that are driving in this series because um you know there’s not that many opportunities for

Them and this needs to this needs to really stick I think about you we we were talking about uh Jessica Hawkins before before the show and how she’s somewhat in a in a con Consulting SL Mentor role for the F1 Academy program uh specifically in Aston Martin and like

That that’s a really cool thing and we talked about it during uh during one of our shows but um my concern is that it’s still a position that although great is still F1 Academy adjacent so I worry that like the F1 Academy becomes the place where female drivers

And female in Motorsports go and not F1 like I want I I need to see similar to what you said I need to see that these women can go from the F1 Academy to act like if not the F1 Academy is is not a good place to be but like I’m sure that

All of them would want to be in F1 eventually so like I I want to see that there is some sort of path from the F1 Academy to F1 to be to have more representation in the patter like I don’t want to see like the F1 Academy

Just becoming like the the the bubble where we keep females in Motorsport that be or not and motorport females n F1 right I mean yeah I mean that’s kind of my thing too is like I mean we talked before which is like I feel like a solution to this might be creating an

All female F1 team in the near future you know obviously I know it’s it’s not going to just be as simple as putting them in these Formula 1 cars but you know I feel like if you’re not really going to take a step like that drastic or that

Dramatic you know what is the trajectory for them do you know what I mean like obviously they there’s other racing series there’s other jobs that they can do um and you know I feel like with so many drivers I know obviously everybody has aspirations to be the best that they can

Be but I think there’s also some level of like realism you know that they must have you know that it’s like uh you know a lot of them are a little bit older or considered old for you know Motorsport um they’re women you know they just there’s like lots of barriers

In place so I wonder how many of them are just like look I’m just going to use this as a way to just get myself out there whatever opportunities I can get to secure some kind of future for myself you know because yeah it it it it’s such

A Cutthroat you know uh industry even if it was coed again you’re just the numbers game like the you know the probability that you’re actually going to make it onto an F1 team or in an F1 seed or F2 or anything is just like so

Slim so yeah I just feel like there has to be some kind of like really concrete um dramatic thing that needs to happen to to like kind of force this this issue yeah I agree I agree and hopefully hopefully there will be it can’t be a it can’t just be a a

Treadmill like yeah just run there and stay there like yeah hopefully it grows into something more right um we you did have some uh Dorian pin stats or info yeah so okay so one of the conversations that we kind of came across that was happening was yeah she’s

Really successful in W series um she I’ll just read a couple uh she’s French carding champion in 2019 2022 she won the European Touring Car Series Ferrari challenge um after she won nine of the 14 races of the season in 2022 she along with the iron Dames uh

Won the Gold Cup at the 24 hours of spa um she took second place in the Asian formula 4 in 2023 and then she also was awarded the 2023 FIA whack revelation of the Year award which I thought was pretty freaking dope like she’s a really accomplished Revelation is a hell of a

Word revelation is like wow what are you a revelation in motor Motorsports you know um but so like a lot of the conversation is like you know obviously she’s got success already and she’s stepping into Formula 1 Academy what is she getting from this because

It’s not going to be as Challen or I won’t say as challenging but I think that’s kind of the thing is like maybe there’s a potential that like she’ll maybe sweep you know like yeah this might not be as big of a challenge for her because of what she’s able to

Accomplish in like the endurance racing series so I mean for me I kind of have to look at it like again it’s just an opportunity she gets to be around people that she normally wouldn’t be around she’s um on the Mercedes team so having access to their person

Their resources um you know being on just a bigger platform in general uh having people like just know who you are does a lot for your career so I don’t know what her individual goal is to get out of this but I hope that she’s just

Using it as like a stepping stone I mean she’s young she’s 20 years old so she has a lot of career left for herself so this is just a great opportunity to just make yourself seen make yourself known there was a lot of conversation on

On like I think she’s a I’m not going to say she has nothing but the least to prove out of everybody that’s competing and I read some articles that were that pointed to like this is just Mercedes being really smart because she’s already successful and they’re saying that

She’ll only find more success so it’s like now Mercedes can have a quote unquote hand in it um which is kind of sinister in a way like hopefully Mercedes actually helps her like fun I think so and you got to even even something as silly not that it makes it

Worth it completely but even something as silly as like Mercedes F1 team tweeting about her being part of the team now even that’s gonna grow your your brand like that’s a lot of exposure ABS I mean that’s like I mean really like that’s look at how all these

Drivers who have been announced so far their platforms have grown like it’s just basic marketing at this point I mean really like that’s kind of what we’re looking at it’s just like a big marketing experiment for these drivers um who are talented like this is not

It’s not some a series to develop their uh Talent they already have it this is give them opportunities right to just uh Excel where they wouldn’t normally have a chance to so um this is a marketing Excursion like that’s how I would look at it if I was

Involved in this like if I was a driver like how can I make myself look the most marketable profitable like whatever I know how not yeah I know how not to I know how not to oh wait wait we said we were going to talk so we mention what happened or you

Want to by that that’s just so bad no no no it’s fine it’s fine it’s fine it’s fine it’s fine it’s fine it’s fine later we’ll it later it’s fine but yeah I know the W the F1 really like it interests me quite a lot I’m I’m curious

Like the kind of like behind the scenes mechanics of it all like how does it really work what is really the long-term goals for this um you know what’s in it for these drivers obviously yes big platform whatever but like really what’s in it for them you

Know uh how to is a job or a career right because like this makes F1 look great like this this is PR gold for Formula 1 it’s like yay we are helping the women be in Motorsport Like Pat us on the back but like if that’s the

Surface level you know I hope that there’s like some depth to this because I I don’t want it to just be like everybody’s excited for this women are finally getting a chance and it’s like it’s there’s no real like plan for what to do um so skeptical that that’s my word of the

Day Red Bull and alatar so Red Bull um haven’t announced they they did announce a while back Red Bull did that they’re going to uh sponsor three Academy drivers yeah um but they haven’t announced which three it’s rumored that the AL cubasi sisters are going to go

Into Red Bull of otari and then the third one is going to be Emily D who with hamda Al cubasi being the Red Bull one I’m not ubas being the alari or whatever one and EM Emily de house I don’t know the logistics of it um but

That’s the rumor right now for them but it’s still interesting that no it’s super it’d be dope like like the sisters together just like that that’ be really dope the younger sister is for what it’s worth the younger sister is notoriously known and that’s H notor is known to be

Quicker than than the older sister so that’s why it would make sense that the quicker one in HDA would be the Red Bull representative right yeah um excited today I learned Chris read out uh earlier I didn’t know that or I think you never mind the F1 Academy driver I

Think it was the F1 Academy drivers drive the same cars as F4 cars I just didn’t know that like I knew it was a similar one but I didn’t all that and then that’s kind of to what you were saying and what we talked about earlier it’s like how

How not me but how much does F1 respect success in the F1 Academy if they’re driving a car that’s an F4 car right like it’d be interesting to see if they could get a better car and if not then I want to see them be able to go into F3

If they prove themselves in an F4 cards yeah so speaking of Mercedes and team news we have Toto wolf signing a threeyear contract extension to remain team principal which I read that and I was like okay I didn’t realize that he would have to sign a contract um let alone extended like I

Just yeah how do you think negotiations went when total wolf asked for the threeyear signed agreement to totto Wolf how do you think that went right he was like Toto he’s like yes Toto would you like to remain team principal uh yes Toto I think I would

Like I that would be great how much money would you like to make Toto like yeah I’m like that that I I don’t know maybe it’s just me not understanding fully how this works but yeah um I was very fascinated by the fact that he signed an extension but uh also an

Extension was signed by James Allison and his is just called a long-term contract so we don’t have an exact number of years that he signed on but he will remain as technical director and it just kind of got me thinking like you know obviously we haven’t seen the W5 yet

But it has to bode well if you’re extending the contract of the man who’s responsible for helping develop it right like you it like it has it has to is this is this hopium copium I don’t know but like I just like okay James I mean

James Allison’s been with the team for a while anyway so it’s not like you know he’s some young upand Comer like he’s definitely proven himself on the team already so I think just having his knowledge his expertise his leadership will go far but I’m reading into it I’m

Like [ __ ] it like you know you’re reading into the tea leaves like let me see what this let me see what this means are we cooking for real yeah for real yeah um no go ahead I’m sorry go ahead I just want to read out a quote uh

That total wolf had on the total wolf extension total wolf said that total wolf has been a great uh a member of this team for many years and that total wolf has been exemplary and that if it wasn’t for total wolf leis Hamilton wouldn’t have won all those championships so total wolf said

That total wolf is an Untouchable member of the team uh so so really powerful words there from Total wolf on total wolf um something he actually said is I am staying at Mercedes to beat Red Bull with Hamilton he told that to the UK’s Telegraph yeah really nice to hear um it’s nice
