  1. Time to move on from ANDERSON.!!! His value is still high for a good return …but his age and intensity are becoming a concern.!! He doesn't match the young core .. he seems a little lost under St. LOUIS 's system …and you either fit…or don't.!! He scores off the rush ..that's NOT what Marty wants .!! Sorry but time to cut him loose..!!

  2. The Habs woes aren't player associated. The idiots at the helm believe they are responsible for the team on the ice…
    Wrong.
    The players are responsible.
    It's about tonight.
    Wtf are we doing.
    What's the plan?
ST Louis plan is nothing. No clue how to enter the zone. .
    No clue of anything.
    F HIM.

  3. I visit Nybro from time to time and I know the main sponsor of the team. This is a very small town and it’s impressive that the hockey team does so well. I will catch a game next time I visit. I see Adam Engtröm quite a bit in the SHL and he is looking very good.

  4. Don't be haters. He frd Monahan for game winning goal. Trade him if you will for a good deal. I'd keep him unless i got a great offer.

  5. When the games get tough, Josh is there, I'd keep him for the remainder of the season. If some team is interested in the off season and for a great return he will be traded then.

  6. People calling for trading Anderson…

We are at year 3 of the rebuild next year. We may not make the playoffs, but we need to be relevant all year long. Questions are :

1 – Is the potential return going to help us achieve that?
2 – If not (picks or reclamation projects) Can someone do the job he should better for 82 games?

Question 2 pretty much answers Q1. No, Anderson's potential return would not make us a better 82 game team.

Now Q2 … who in Laval can take his minutes? Nobody, unless Heineman reveals himself. Mesar? Not yet. We are reaching a point where our prospect should and must do a stint in Laval.

Josh Roy? Now we're talking. Josh for Josh. I'm not St-Louis or Houle, or Hughues or Gorton, but if they believe Josh Roy can replace Josh Anderson next year, then yes, they should trade Josh Anderson and give Josh Wawa the end of this season to prepare mentally for an 82 game ride next year.

Repeat the exercise for Monahan for fun, or any player for that matter. You'll see this one is much harder to replace.

  7. I dont understand why people think Monahan with a u$2m contract will fetch less then what Anderson got last deadline which was a 1st. If he can get that Monahan easily can get a top 6 prospect and a draft pick or two.

  8. Bottom line the veterans won't be there when this team is s contender… you can't trade gally, I'd keep Matteson for now but for the rest, imo, hugues, at some point needs to get value via trade out of : Anderson, Savard, Monahan, Allen, armia and kovacevic…

  9. Here we go again St. Slaf is so awesome the habs would win the Stanley Cup if the other players could play up to his awesomeness. Usually im poliite but the Slaf worship, was total crap.

  10. Ericksson is only 5’ 10”. We need more taller forwards as we have enough smaller players in the system

  11. We know Josh doesn't work with Nick and Cole, but the Islanders do have a very good top line/D pairing. Their depth after that is pretty bad, as evidenced by the fact the rest of their team got outplayed by the Habs, who don't exactly have great depth themselves. Roy has his work cut out for him trying to turn that team around.

  12. How come no one is looking at Gallagher s game? What a useless veteran on big salary! Get rid of him faster the better!!!

  13. That’s it, he’s rocking stud. A monster power forward, and MSL system has ruined his game and value ( maybe ).

  14. Engstrom like all rookie dmen should play a full year in Laval. That includes Hudson and Reinbacher and Bogan when he comes from the KHL. MAilloux is developing well and should be ready in a year or two for a full time spot on the Habs.

  15. I'm pretty certain that Nybro is 3rd Division and Vaxjo is the top tier league in Sweden. Frederic Olausson did start his career in Nybro so there is hope for the kid.

  16. bad season from josh anderson the end nothing gonna change if you switch him on line 1-2-3-4 sad but it is what it is

  17. We all knew it! I was trying not to do this. Strike one, Marty! That was stupid! Strike two, I fear, is coming sooner than we think. There is too much pride, not enough couch. Come on, guys! This needs to stop. Slaff gets slanted because he is playing well. When does that happen on any other team? Habs still suck with their talent. It's getting worrisome!

  18. We need to start talking about the riff between Slaff and Matheson. These 2 guys are getting all the attention. Slaff is a kid and the future of the tram. Matheson thinks he is. There is a real problem here. FUCK Matheson and his attitude! Slaff is worth more pound for pound and thats a no brainer. Why won't Matheson pass to Slaff? Why, he's poison. Now you know why you got him cheap. Go figure! 🙂 Stupid fans dont see shit!

  19. The question here is, does Suzuki swing with the Caufield, Slaff thing, or will he buy into the Matheson thing and ruin the team? Time will tell.

  20. Really good job explaining what the xgf and other stats mean and what the habs lines did in relation to them.
