Uh yob let’s start with the end of the game it got a little spirited you were talking with some of the Sabers players care to uh share what the conversation was about no no let’s keep that on ice but obviously a huge win for us tonight we’ve been struggling here at home so
It’s nice to get get the fans something get something here tonight so big win for us we’re going to Road here for two games so obviously nice to have this in in our back pocket jaob obviously you guys controlled most of that game until I ended up scoring two goals late there
What was the message on the ice and on the bench um you know as they get those two goals I thought you guys tightened up really well and defended well after that yeah I mean obviously they had a great push there the last 10 minutes or
So they got one on the power PL and just kind of kept rolling after that we kind of told ourselves we we can’t pack it in here we got to try to try to get something going here so try to make plays obviously not not be be stupid
With the puck but we can’t just pack it in here but I mean Gibby made some big saes thr us there and obviously getting the empet and then H take the two points from there I know that was two goals in your last 45 games coming into this one
You have two goals here how how good did that feel I mean obviously it’s it’s been a struggle for me personally but nice to nice to get to here tonight obviously the first one good shot from goods and uh second one probably one of the easier easier one scores in my career great
Play by m t so obviously same thing for me here as a team we got to try to keep it rolling here we got H kind of halfway of the season so uh uh just keep pushing yeah obviously got a lot of young guys in the lineup but zel wigger makes his
NHL debut tonight had an assist tonight what did you see from him just his Poise and his conf confidence and I guess as a young guy coming in I remember my first NHL game I I definitely didn’t like that look like that I had so much nerves it was so nervous going out
There yeah I mean uh obviously he’s going to be terrific player we saw him early in the camp too’s he moves like probably one of the better skaters in the league out there and definitely didn’t look too shy out there tonight obviously get a big assist on the the
Power play goal just just shooting that puck I mean I know if I was my first game I probably wouldn’t shoot that puck but obviously good things happen to good players so great rist shot just get it in there and hammered away in a rebound
But I mean he’s going to be a big part of this organization so uh great to see him get a point tonight and hopefully he us the rest of us can keep building on this all right yakob thank you very much for your time congratulations on the win
