Cal Foote sets up Alexander Holtz with a sweet pass and Holtz puts it in the back of the net to give the New Jersey Devils a 2-1 lead against the Columbus Blue Jackets! This would go on to be the game winning goal for the Devil’s as they win 4-1!
Holtz also makes it 3 goals in his last 4 games but that comes with a lot of negative feedback about his game from head coach Lindy Ruff who has reduced Holtz’s ice time and pushed him to the 4th line!
Holtz was also benched shortly after scoring the game tying goal against the Montreal Canadiens a few nights ago!
Which leaves the question is this treatment of a young developing player from Ruff fair or not? Can you see Ruffs point of view or do you think he’s being too harsh?
