What I don't understand in all of this. Raddysh is no doubt great defensively. Great on the PK. He also has done ZERO offensively for the team and yet he has been allowed to remain in the top 6 forwards. This year was touted as all about letting the rookies find their way…Raddysh isn't even a rookie yet the expectations for him seem really low compared to what is being expected of a rookie like Reichel. Put Reichel in the fire with players who can actually keep up with him and complete some passes and maybe we could see the old Reichel back? Just a thought. They pulled him off the top line and demoted him down to the 3rd pretty quickly vs any other rookies and some vets who aren't producing either. He is on the same "island" we all use when talking about Bedard but seems to be he is the one being singled out. No wonder his head is messed up?
The Blackhawks Still Got A Long Way To Go
See if Roenick will have dinner with him and share a bit of the attitude needed to wear #27. A little machismo could go a long way for Lucas.

To me, I think most of this stems from a fear of taking a hit. It seems to me in watching his play that he avoids contact at all costs and loses possession. Granted he’s not a big guy.
