I know it was a game against a bottom feeder decimated by injuries, Kuzmenko has scored a hat trick before and this is only one game, but it seemed like a light bulb went off for him. Like he should know now what it takes to be a contributor at the NHL level. He was the play driver on that line, something we haven't seen from him before. And it was weird. Once he set up that gorgeous goal, I noticed him working hard a lot more. He was behind both nets digging pucks out and that's what led to the Hughes goal. He was also playing well defensively, to the point where Tocchet put him out to defend a lead. Sure, it was against a bad, injury plagued team, but it was a vote of confidence. That's how it's supposed to be. When you figure out what it takes to be on a successful team and you do everything right, you get rewarded. Hopefully that's a teachable moment for Andrei and he realizes that's how he has to play no matter who the opponent is. Sure, it's fun to score, but what's more fun is winning as a team and being a significant contributor. Good for him.
Respect to Craig, and let's go Taylor Swift. Great for the Chiefs and brining new demographics and fans to the sport. If she was Pat Benatar, Dhalil would have no problem and be loving it. lol

Michael Jackson had as much talent in his pinky finger as Taylor Swift has in her whole body! Get some taste there Craig……lol
I really like Tocchet for not playing mind games with the players. Can't say that for all coaches.

A few weeks of therapy. All cured. Ready to sign a contract and good to go. The Oilers are the same old oilers. Not going anywhere.
