Someone told me he had covid 3 times last year and I still think with kivis death is still on his mind
It doesn't feel right. Elvis was and always is supportive of his teammates and hockey club. 4 years he was absolutely fine and 2 years he was also fine with splitting starts between him and Korpi – he never had an issue, never complained, always was harshest critic to his performance and was honest about it as in the good times as in totally mind wrecking ones. I also believe that CBJ fell apart as an organization when Tort's left. Tort's was a fair General and he got best out of everyone including Elvis!
Let Elvis go to a different NHL team please, he doesn't deserve this. His honesty is being met with the cryptic comments and answers by the CBJ coaching staff and management like WTF, grown up men can't be honest with their own hockey club players.
This is very wrong and is harming Elvis and the CBJ.
This Team Handles everything horrendously!!! I'm now officially on the Fire Jarmo, JD and Pazzy train!!! To let this come out in a media scrum and diminish all leverage for a trade is just beyond forgiveness!! All they had to do was let him play and work out a deal in the meantime!! Worst part is, if it wasn't for a terrible defensive system of allowing teams to skate uncontested into our zone and set up power plays while 5 on 5, he would probably be having a way better season!! All of our goalies have been under heavy fire all season!!! But Elvis does tend to much like Bob did, let in easy saves!! Please send Booze….
I think everyone and Elvis understand that you play the hot hand. I would think that he’s more upset about not even being the backup goaltender when Tarasov starts. I know that Tarasov hasn’t played as many games but Elvis has the better stats currently and not even having him dress is very weird.
A lot of people hate Elvis’ contract but we should at least be playing him for the money he makes or if the FO want to showcase him for a trade.
I love Elvis but at the end of the day he makes 5.4 mill a year and getting that partially off of the books is something that will benefit the organization. We need as much cap space as possible to sign our young forwards at the end of this season! (Marchenko, KJ, Sillinger & Chinakov have expiring contracts this year)
