Very similar to Malkin’s goal against the Oilers a few years ago. The bar down on Malkin’s made it that much more special and this is coming from an Oilers fan. I believe it was top 5 highlight of the year that year

Saw this in person… the crowd roared but at the same time, there was this collective “what the f just happened” among the whole stadium. Especially on the replay… you could hear it throughout everyone just saying “Whattttt?!”
