I understand the idea behind the rule to protect players heads from a check. However, if the player has his head down and has the puck, it's almost inevitable that the point of contact would be the head. If that type of hit is not allowed, any player could skate around the ice with the puck and his head down and be immune to a check like that.
Love this and LOVVVE Troobs, but would we say that the chicken wing on 87 MAY have been questionable? Or I need more angles…
