Seems like Marner skates toward him right after the goal prob asking wtf he was doing. 5 leafs around the net and not one thought to pressure the puck carrier. Teams have forgotten how to play basic defense lately, quite shocking to see at the pro level

I’ve never played goalie so I’m likely talking out of my ass but somehow that third goal just seems like such a “ehhh I give up” vibe. Keep rewatching and at the minimum once that wall of two screens comes in and he’s still crouched that side and not even moving, just seems.. different. I feel like I get holding that post, but anyway, that’s my two late night ‘had a few’ cents
