On the Fleury mask, I don't understand the NHL's issue. The Canadian teams embrace the Native lands and symbols. It's a Canadian League and several team's logos or themes are Native American images, Chicago and Arizona for starters. I would love to see the NHL promote our Native Spirit.

I think Fleury should sell cheaper versions of those masks and have fans wear them in the stands.

When I was in school in the 80s and 90s, we didn't have F's, E was as low as it went. E was for less than 60%, which was failing, but they didn't want to call you a failure so they used E instead of F. Anything higher than an E was passing, so a D- was 60% and it was passing.

E grades exist ! I had one once, I never forgot it. And yes, it is a midterm mark only, not a final grade. I think it was in social studies. Hated it

Weird situation in Chicago, hope Perry is "ok". Hope Girard gets the help he needs. Nice to hear Fleury wore his mask, dumb decision by the NHL. And as a retired middle school teacher that "E" grade and using a downward curve is a big "what?" in my opinion. From what I could find, Quebec is the only province still using an "E". Sam was using alcohol to cope with the anxiety / depression, I think that's what really started to worry him. Big ups to him for being vulnerable and for seeking help. Sometimes acknowledging and talking about the problem is the most important step.
E was equivalent to an A or B+ in my primary school. We had E S N or G.
E = excellent
S = satisfactory
N = Needs improvement
G = Gary Bettman.

In my high school and I think the whole school district we had " I " for the same reason you had an " E " and we had no D's
F's only showed up when you actually failed the course.
We didn't even have D's where I'm at. If you had under a 70, you had an F.
