NHL Highlights | Capitals vs. Rangers – January 14, 2024
Artemi Panarin fired home his team-leading 26th goal of the season and Igor Shesterkin was solid in net making 24 saves as the New York Rangers snapped a four-game losing streak defeating the Washington Capitals 2-1.
Ny Karens still played terribly. The 2nd period highlights were all for Washington, and what do the forwards need, no goalie in order to score form in close.
Where's the NYR's flair team of a month or so gone? Strange how top international super-stars of the game can seem to lose any confidence or self belief after a few ropey performances & most of the squad n' all at the same time. Lucky Igor hasn't fallen prey to this team case of the Jip's or things would be ugly. Surely the Ranger's organization must have team psychologist's on the coaching side for times like this? Hopefully this win might be the 1st sign of a positive streak ahead!!
