Que bonito video del recuerdo ,que cantidad de llegadas de ambos equipos ..que bonito era el futbol de antes , ahora es demasiado tactico ,, y muchas veces defensivo , ..buen video amigos ..

A pesar que Uruguay perdió con Suecia no tenía el carácter de los Uruguayos menos más rápido sin embargo antes en el fútbol la táctica un juego tiene posición de remate al arco los arqueros queda atajada y los espacios como ataques hoy en día los futbolistas son peores qué antes es por eso ninguno forma según la regla para colmo no es asi

Es raro lo de Uruguay, a nivel equipos Peñarol y Nacional ganaron todo; tres años antes del mundial Nacional, con Artime, Cubilla y Morales fue campeón del mundo y a nivel selección con muchos jugadores de ambos equipos, no lograron conformar una escuadra competitiva.
Soy uruguayo, pero que hermoso era ver estos partidos en los cuales no se andaba con toques para los costados y se pateaba al arco desde cualquier lado.
Al momento de jugarse este partido Brasil tenía 3 copas y era el actual campeón, le seguían Uruguay e Italia con 2 y Alemania e Inglaterra con 1 copa. Argentina ni figuraba. Increíble cómo cambió todo. Hoy Uruguay sigue igual que en aquel entonces, Brasil llegó a las 5 y Argentina sumó 3.
A nadie le llama la atencion la velocidad del partido? creo q es el efecto de estar en 16:9 el video, si no es inexcplicable la velocidad de los jugadores y los disparos de larga distancia. Vi otros videos del canal y me parece lo mismo. Si algo destacaba el futbol de esa epoca era por ser mas lento.
Oh, what memories! I remember this so well (I was 13 at the time). This version of Sweden's national football team was one of the 3 best squads ever, along with the ones of 1958 (silver) and 1994 (bronze). The match against Uruguay was so exciting for us swedes. Beating Uruguay, after having played 0-0 against both Holland and Bulgaria, meant that Sweden went through to the 2nd round. Unfortunately, in the first match there Sweden lost 1-0 to Poland in the most frustrating game I personally have ever watched (along with Brazil's loss to Italy in 1982). West Germany in the 2nd game was a bit too much for Sweden (4-2 to W.G.), although "we" took the lead twice, 1-0 and 2-1. The first goal, an incredible volley by Edström, is highly memorable. The victory in the last match against Yugoslavia meant 5th place for Sweden. Poland finally won the bronze medal, which was well deserved (they eliminated England in the qualification phase). Major stars in the swedish team were the incredible goalie Ronnie Hellström (R.I.P.) and forward Ralf Edström who scored 4 times in the cup. Bravo Suécia! BTW, thanks for the upload.
The great Ladislao Mazurkiewicz's last game for Uruguay. He was the only one who performed up to his normal standards and prevented a total embarrassment.
Buen partido . Con tiros de larga distancia. Destacaron ambos arqueros. Suecia gano xq no desperdcior las ocasiones que tuvo además de un mejor estado físico.
