I’m not mad, just disappointed that people don’t understand that the players need rest πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

Bruh, wtf, Makar has been playing hurt all year. Why can’t we let him just take a break? And I’m sorry, but Georgie does not need to be there, he hasn’t exactly had a stellar season. Nichushkin has been on fire all year, he would have been a great choice.

Goddamn it, if anyone on the team needed a break it’s Georgie

With Panarin refusing to go because his child is due, it is Very likely Rants is going too.

I mean, good for them I suppose, but I’m honestly pretty baffled by Georgiev getting picked. I really like the guy, and he’s been looking better recently but overall he’s not played great this season. I do honestly believe at least part of that is just how much he’s playing so I was really hoping the all star break would be a prime chance for him to get some much-needed rest

As for Makar, much more understandable why he was voted in but I’m still not convinced he doesn’t have some nagging injury or something. Much like Georgiev, I’d much rather him rest up

Jesus guys… We were worried about Makar and Mikko being forced to go, but nope… we had to say *”You know, who REEEEEALLY needs the rest? Georgie. Let’s not give it to him.”*

I agree they need rest but the all star weekend is pretty low key, you guys. They’re mostly just goofin out there. It’ll be okay.

The Avs have 2 games in 16 days with ten minutes of work in the middle for George. Relax you dough heads. He’s getting plenty of rest.

Now the other matter is that there are AHL goalies more deserving of an all-star nomination than him this year.Β

Georgiev has 100% NOT had an all-star worthy season thus far. Even his most staunch defenders should be able to see that.

I like Georgie but him getting in over Demko is an embarrassment.

Makar was an inevitable pick. Hopefully chu chu isn’t far behind… 7 spots left.

As for Georgie. The guy doesn’t have great save stats but he has still won 23 games as an overworked goalie behind a defense that has made the easy look inexplicably hard MANY times this season. Bednar has said as much on multiple occasions.

I ain’t mad about it. I like our goalie, he’s carrying a heavy ass load this year, and the fans are showing their appreciative effort for him.

Plus, people tend to overreact about the taxing effort of attending an all-star game. It’s always just a bunch of guys horsing around lol.

  11. I find it funny how people are confused by Georgie getting voted in when it’s a Fan vote. If anything, I’m glad that there are more people who support him than it seems like. I’m happy for him!

That’s surprising about Georgie. Sure, they have been disastrous at times defensively, but he hasn’t been good enough. I imagine most of the voters only looked at his total number of wins and haven’t watched him play much.

Sorry. But dont agree that Georgie is an all star.

Sorry. But dont agree that Georgie is an all star.

Voteed? Does that mean they are going or aren’t going?
