He would sign at minimum or close to it. HE’s more looking to pick his destination more than get paid. He can take Knies spot if he is injured. Otherwise, he would likely fit in to the 3rd line, maybe 4th.
Why would you risk your room by putting this guy in it? Leafs are not desperate and I'd say the whole issue he had would be all the Media in TO would dig at until we know exactly what he did. He's a distraction that a more desperate team would look at but a PR nightmare the leafs they don't need at this point. What did he do BTW do you know ?

Why the hell didn't they sign him in 20/21 when he was somehow signed by the Habs for league minimum, I never did figure that one out. If we'd have had him instead of the Habs, we'd have probably gone to the Cup finals, that was a big missing ingredient. Now, 3 years too late….
