Never got to listen much but were we sloppy in the second?

  2. Time-Dot5984

BACK IN FIRST IN THE LEAGUE

    Temporarily by a point

  3. Knight_On_Fire

My argument for people to stop trying to nickel and dime Pettersson gets a lot easier when he’s averaging a point per period for four consecutive games. Someone in the game thread noted that crazy stat. How long can this point production last? He’s an **absolute menace**.

  4. djblackprince

The more I listen to Tocchet the more I’m convinced he’s the best coach we’ve ever had.

  5. lingcod476

Was that last penalty on Hronek just Crosby tripping over the net?

  6. wintercom

Maybe noted Canucks fan Connor Berdard was off a year predicting who’s gonna win the cup.

  7. It’s still hilarious how both the Penguins goalie and player held Joshua down in front of the net so that Garland couldn’t set him up to score yet Hronek got called for holding. The refs really were awful tonight lmao

  8. MozzerellaStix

Man I was really hoping my 2 teams (wings and Canucks) could help each other out today but instead both games go to OT lol

  9. nitasu987

the way I was so devastated at the last second Pens goal and then STOKED at Petey’s goal. WHEW.

  10. Woooooody

I just caught up on the game! Yaaay Whale team!!

  11. OneStrongGopher

At this point it’s hard not to think about a dream run.

  12. any one know what the record for most consecutive GWGs. Asking for alien friend Elias PayAnySum

he is the first to do 4 GWGs in a row all on the road

  13. electricnux

January is always the toughest month and everyone was worried about this road trip back in September. Four wins already on this trip are huge, hopefully they take advantage of the 2 weaker teams remaining

  14. SloJuicer

It’s the first time we can’t get a regulation win when leading after 40. Our record is stained

  15. N4ZZY2020

That game was wild. But so happy that Petey scored the game winning goal. Four straight wins on a seven game road trip. I say that’s pretty damn good.

  16. SilentPolak

aw man the jets beat the blackhawks 2-1 at the last second we were close to first again lol

  17. Lucky-Blacksmith-944

We win they lose fuck em all !!! Canucks 2024

  18. Lynx-Savings

Chicago shat the bed in the third so the Jets are the points leader again

  19. metrichustle

Every minute passes and Petey’s agent is drooling

  20. Frumbleabumb

Canucks ran out of gas in the third. Hope they rest up and get ready for Saturday

Remember about 8 years ago when we went on a big road trip and lost every game. Oh no, wait, that was last year.

    What a turnaround.

Oilers and kraken are on all time runs though. Gonna be interesting in March.

  22. Good news, the single point the Penguins got tonight will be the point that gets them in the playoffs. Where they will shit all over the Rangers or Bruins.

It’s just funny how several times the entire league and fanbases were saying how the Canucks were due to regress, yet they’ve actually raised the bar and played better. I don’t think the Canucks have ever fell out of top 5 in the league ever since they’ve entered it. Meanwhile the Kings and Knights are far worse than regressing right now. How the turns have tabled lol. I guess if you continuously state throughout an entire season that a team is going to regress you can’t be wrong lmao. Typical NHL fan logic.

  24. ezkc1236

It’s looks like Petey’s actually having fun right now. I can’t remember the last time he put that much emotion into a celly. He’s always had that mono-tone “been there done that” goal celebration.

Am i the only one who wants to see hoggy given a chance in miks spot on the suter kuzy line?

    Hoggy – suter – kuzy

I feel like mik has been underwhelming lately and hoggy deserves to be rewarded for the production hes had in such limitted deployment. Plus his puck skills might help kuzy get the offence rolling a bit better rather than having to cary the line offensively himself for the most part. Give him someone with better puck skills to work with.

  26. burdsandwich

It’s kinda just what we do these days

  27. thesunsetflip

Didn’t watch much of the game how did they look?

Only portions I was able to watch it got pretty chippy and Miller went after Sid a couple times in the same play. The hell happened there?

  28. greenlamp12345

Random but I was listening on the radio (shoutout everyone else stuck on 91) and Batch is so good man, listened to the last few games on the radio driving home from work and he’s great

  29. Forceburn

HOLY that horn was so annoying and loud. How is it allowed? There must be rules against loud noises like that?

It would be like if we played our goal horn every few minutes when no one has scored. Actually, that horn sounded even LOUDER than our goal horn.

  30. metrichustle

OT was telling how much this team believes in each other. Watch Pettersson slowed down when the Pens were on a 3 on 2. Some may say he stopped backchecking, but I see what he was doing. He had complete faith Demko was going to stop that or Hronek was going to break up the play and send him off on a breakaway. Had Patterson rushed back into their defensive zone, he would not have had that chance.

  31. thesunsetflip

Did 96-24-65 get third line deployment the whole game? Little worried about the Comrades
