How am I supposed to feel?
Going from 4th place in the east to second in the west.
According to Max Bultman, the team he’s headed to is the highest scoring team in the WHL.
Sounds promising! Let’s him be the defensive wizard he is and opens up lots of opportunities for more scoring
I don’t really follow the lower leagues, so he was traded but stays a wing ?
Fuck yeah. Going to one of best teams in the league. He’s gonna be so good for Portland.
Edit: I’ll expand on my thoughts. Danielson looked like a better hockey player than Bedard did in the preseason. I know it’s exhibition hockey, but those kids really do try out there, even if the vets don’t.
Danielson was playing with NHL caliber players for part of the preseason and he made them look better. That’s the kind of player he is. He is not the flashiest, or the fastest, or the strongest, but he goes out there and plays the right way, makes the right plays, and makes his linemates better. I can easily see him being a top line center in the league.
It’s pretty normal in the CHL for low standing to start trading OA or players in their last year to Memorial Cup contenders. Happens ever year around this time.

Woohoo, 10 PM ET start times to watch him 🙁
Hoping he gets some seriously talented wingers to play with.
This might mean we get to see Danielson in Saginaw for the memorial cup. What a treat that would be
Kid can dish and shoot. You’re going to get all this flashy shit from kids, it’s up to the team to settle them down and help them mature. If we can cap dump, I’d give him a shot
