Great channel man! Id love to see vids on the Capitals. Imo Brian Maclellan needs to go. Signing Ovi and Backstrom imo was dumb and destroyed any chance at a rebuild now we are in mediocrity land.

With broberg wanting a trade I think the package has been set for gudbranson/merzlinkin (spelling probably wrong), for broberg/campbell and picks
I agree that Broberg wasn’t given enough minutes/exposure by Woodcroft, but his time to stand out was the pre-season and at the start of the regular season while Ekholm was hurt/out. He didn’t prove himself to be anything special at this point and, with Desharnais’ improved play in the group of 6 D-men, he’s the odd man out (literally).
You can’t get anything of value for him at this point. They should’ve put him in the minors to get some exposure at least.
It doesn’t matter what’s available out there, Oilers are dealing from a position of weakness.

I say, good riddance to him. This was the year to finally show the team that he belongs with the club. Regardless of whatever minutes you're given. He cant expect to be given a top 4 role with Nurse, Ekholm,Bouchard and Ceci on the team lol. He couldn't even beat Desharnais for that spot. He should have been traded at least 2 seasons ago.
Not familiar with a lot of the new stats and what they mean. A video or series would be great!
