That playoff with Detroit was Crosby's first Stanley cup so you can't blame him for not shaking hands he didn't know how to react he was just so happy celebrating with his teammates and coaches.
We have another Isiah Thomas, who woudn't shake any Chicago Bulls hands and Isiah wonders why he didn't get an invite to the Dream Team. I would not expect this by such a well-mannered man, like Sid the Kid over a body check during the game.

Watching this brought back memories. My friend and I almost played a part in derailing Crosby’s hockey dreams. When they were building Cole Harbour Place we used to sneak in through a back door at night and, let’s say undo a lot of the work being done.
Had they not caught us after months of doing this the construction would have taken a lot longer. Maybe Sidney wouldn’t have got his start when he did.

WHA contract?!?! The WHA ceased operation in 1979. Crosby was born in 1987. How the fuck can a defunct professional hockey league offer a contract to an unborn player?
