Therefore, he should be placed on long-term injury until he is ready to play again. It is the same as any other injury. The Leafs will then be able to send to the Marlies for conditioning after he is ready to return to playing without dealing with waivers. It will also give the Leafs salary relief while he is recovering.

As an Oilers fan, I'd recommend that you guys just try to be a little bit patient. If you can hold out until say, the deadline, Numm Nutz Holland will probably give you Skinner, Bouchard and 2 firsts for him.
Teams 'D' sucks, a new goalie won't change that, what does the'Goalie Wanted' ad say, You are a self-starter, being hung out to dry by overpaid under achievers does not bother you, accepting blame for team losses and bad traffic on Yonge street essential, experience preferred, salary is negotiable.

It's a combination of goaltending, defence, off season acquisitions and coaching.
I have said for 4 years fire Keefe and the defensive structure of this team is proof plus he has been out coached in every playoff round.
