I think Evans is a better player than Justin Schultz, who has been consistently terrible and only recently got lucky and hasn't been messing up as much. Evans has never done the stupid giveaways that Schultz has done many times this season, many of which cost us goals. I know Schultz got the game winner in OT last month but I think that was 90% the Bjorkstrand assist honestly, Schultz just got lucky. It doesn't excuse his absolutely horrendous +/- and general lack of pick control. Evans is a better choice for that line with Dumoulin, in my opinion, based on the games he has played with the Kraken. I can't wait for Schultz's contract to end after this season.
I'm am also surprised it wasn't Dunn with his stellar play. Kinda shocked that Evans was sent back down. I look forward to him returning. I am enjoying the women's hockey, how about you? GO KRAKEN!
