  1. I thought they played good. Jets Goalie just played better. I hope Eklund shoots more his passes on point.

  2. The genuine 2024 Stanley Cup contenders are starting to emerge from the pack of leading teams, and Winnipeg Jets have shown they belong to elite performing teams this year. This is a matter of having all the right pieces or players and working out their chemistry despite new faces and injuries making that harder. Momentum will build among the elite teams in next month, and the injury bug will start to bite and separate the contenders again by their relative depth. Superior medical staff and rehab practices will also make a difference. Quinn is one of the most shocked coaches I have ever seen in his after game interviews, probably because he is doing everything he knows to turn this teams round and still experiencing numbing defeats and some of the worst puck luck and odd penalty calls. The pain is piling on the Sharks and I know Quinn is not John Tortorella in temperament but the pressure is building towards a blow up. This losing streak is their hitting bottom moment but it is like slow motion torture hockey as we fans witness the Sharks finding novel ways to lose every game. The hockey is still entertaining but no Sharks fans should expect this group of players to stay together in next 60 days before trade deadline. Faces will change and I think Mike Grier will get better trade deals this time with more experience and after getting low returns in past trades for Brent Burns for example, or Erik Karlsson. Mike Grier has to own this season's failure and face the media in interviews. JD try to get an interview with Noah Gregor if possible during the Leafs vs Sharks games.

  3. as a Jet's guy, I have to say your goailie is pretty amazing. Coulda gone differently with him playing like that.
