I Did Not See This News Coming

Nhl news today – This is pretty a big development for the calgary flames and could possibly affect their trades and outlook for the deadline for players like noah hanifin and chris tanev with teams like the toronto maple leafs and winnipeg jets (do you guys want an in-depth video on that?), but first and foremost, it’s awesome to see oliver kylington getting better on a personal level. For recaps and reactions to nhl highlights today 2024 , hockey news and rumors and coverage of all nhl teams but plenty of edmonton oilers toronto maple leafs calgary flames news kylington and montreal canadiens and world juniors 2024 content, subscribe to johnny hawkey. 1. Oliver was amazing defense man when we left but so happy he’s out skating with the wranglers so good to see him back his mental health comes first though with out a doubt

  2. As a Flames fan, i'm so happy to Kylington back after worrying if he was going to be ok. Hope he makes it back to the NHL.

  3. I love this story, thanks for putting it out. One of my hockey hero's is Ron Ellis who documented his battle with Clinical Depression back in '86. His book "Over The Boards" written in 2002 details his struggle. Somebody go by Oliver a copy just to prove to him that he's not alone. Ellis played over a 1000 games for the Leafs, won a Cup in '67 and was a stalwart in the 1972 Team Canada win over the CCCP playing on a line with Bobby Clarke and Paul Henderson. Go Oliver Go!

  4. When he finally returns to the Dome, we need to give him a standing ovation so that he knows Calgary supports him! We stand with Oliver! Go Flames Go!!

  5. I was so happy to see this news today. Kyl managed (imo) to be the most impressive player in the 21-22 miracle season. Warms my heart to see that he is doing much better, and a return to play is on the road map!

  6. What a cushy job to be able to take a year off for mental health, what is he doing at the spa getting his nails done?

  7. Man I love how you cover stories around the nhl. Flames fan here so it's a special thing to hear. Really hope for the best for him.

  8. Great news! Thank you for sharing this. It’s wonderful to hear that the Flames organization has been proactive and on-board with a policy of mental health first, and everything else second. A lot (and I mean a LOT) of young men have developed mental health impairments in the aftermath of the COVID pandemic, and athletes are not immune from that, any more than anybody else.

  9. Love the way the organization is staying with him through it all. Makes me extra happy to be a flames fan
